Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the completion of accurate financial statements in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and statutory regulations.
- Lead the reporting processes under the Solvency II directive, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of all required documentation.
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s long-term business goals.
- Collaborate effectively with management teams and other departments to support cross-departmental financial initiatives and optimizations.
Key Skills
- Profound understanding and hands-on experience with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Statutory Reporting.
- Expertise in Solvency II Reporting within the Insurance industry.
- Significant working knowledge of the insurance sector and Lloyds regulatory reporting requirements including QMA, QMB RRQ and Syndicate Accounts
- Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to interpret and analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience in financial management and accounting roles within the Insurance sector.
