Dan is dit een mooie kans om jouw expertise in te zetten binnen een ambitieuze organisatie die volop in beweging is.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"425\" data-end=\"639\">Voor een verzekeraat zijn wij op zoek naar een Privacy Officer die zelfstandig opereert, impact maakt en een belangrijke rol speelt in de verdere professionalisering van privacy binnen de organisatie.<\/p>\n<h2>De functie<\/h2>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Als Privacy Officer ben jij het centrale aanspreekpunt voor privacyvraagstukken binnen de organisatie. Je adviseert stakeholders op alle niveaus over de toepassing van privacywetgeving en zorgt ervoor dat nieuwe initiatieven, processen en systemen voldoen aan de geldende wet- en regelgeving.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Je opereert zelfstandig binnen een compacte organisatie waar de lijnen kort zijn en jouw expertise direct wordt gewaardeerd.<\/p>\n<h3>Jouw werkzaamheden<\/h3>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Adviseren over privacyvraagstukken binnen projecten, processen en verandertrajecten;<\/li>\n<li>Beoordelen van privacyrisico&#8217;s en uitvoeren van risicoanalyses;<\/li>\n<li>Opstellen, actualiseren en implementeren van privacybeleid en procedures;<\/li>\n<li>Beoordelen van verwerkersovereenkomsten en andere privacygerelateerde documentatie;<\/li>\n<li>Onderzoeken en afhandelen van datalekken en privacy-incidenten;<\/li>\n<li>Uitvoeren van privacy-audits en ondersteunen bij interne en externe toezichtsactiviteiten;<\/li>\n<li>Adviseren over privacyaspecten bij digitalisering, nieuwe systemen en productontwikkelingen;<\/li>\n<li>Samenwerken met Compliance, Legal, IT en de Functionaris Gegevensbescherming.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Wie ben jij?<\/h2>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Je bent een zelfstandige professional die stevig in zijn of haar schoenen staat. Je weet complexe wet- en regelgeving te vertalen naar praktische oplossingen en bent in staat om verschillende belangen samen te brengen.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Daarnaast beschik je over:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Een afgeronde wo-opleiding;<\/li>\n<li>Een privacycertificering zoals CIPP\/E, VPR-A of vergelijkbaar;<\/li>\n<li>Minimaal 2 jaar ervaring als Privacy Officer;<\/li>\n<li>Ervaring binnen een omgeving met veel wet- en regelgeving;<\/li>\n<li>Bij voorkeur ervaring binnen financi\u00eble dienstverlening, verzekeringen of bancaire instellingen;<\/li>\n<li>Sterke stakeholdermanagement- en adviesvaardigheden;<\/li>\n<li>Een pragmatische en oplossingsgerichte instelling;<\/li>\n<li>Uitstekende beheersing van de Nederlandse taal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Wat maakt deze rol interessant?<\/h2>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Je komt terecht in een organisatie die volop in beweging is. This is a highly visible leadership opportunity for a professional with a strong <strong>life insurance background<\/strong> and hands-on experience with <strong>ICFR, SOX, and\/or Model Audit Rule (MAR)<\/strong> frameworks.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">This role will partner closely with Finance, Operations, Technology, and senior leadership to evaluate risks, improve processes, implement effective controls, and support a strong governance environment.<\/p>\n<h2>What You Will Do<\/h2>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Lead and enhance the organization&#8217;s internal controls framework, ensuring effective governance and risk mitigation.<\/li>\n<li>Own ICFR, SOX, and MAR-related risk assessments, control scoping, testing coordination, and ongoing monitoring activities.<\/li>\n<li>Partner with Finance, Operations, and Technology teams on new initiatives, system implementations, process changes, and regulatory or accounting updates to ensure appropriate controls are designed and maintained.<\/li>\n<li>Identify control gaps and process improvement opportunities, driving remediation efforts and sustainable solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Support internal and external audits, including walkthroughs, testing support, issue remediation, and control documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Advise senior stakeholders on controls best practices and help foster a strong culture of accountability and continuous improvement.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the company&#8217;s controls governance model and operating framework.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What We Are Looking For<\/h2>\n<h3>Required Experience<\/h3>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Experience in Internal Controls, Internal Audit, SOX compliance, Risk Management, Public Accounting, or a related field.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Prior experience within the Life Insurance industry is required or working with life insurance clients.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Strong experience with ICFR, SOX, and\/or Model Audit Rule (MAR) programs.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Experience assessing financial and operational risks, identifying control deficiencies, and driving remediation efforts.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to collaborate effectively with Finance, Operations, Technology, and executive leadership teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Preferred Qualifications<\/h3>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Knowledge of U.S. Statutory Accounting principles; GAAP experience is a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Experience supporting internal and external audits.<\/li>\n<li>CPA, CIA, CISA, or similar professional certification preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Why This Opportunity?<\/h2>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>High-visibility leadership role with significant exposure to senior executives.<\/li>\n<li>Opportunity to shape and enhance an enterprise-wide controls environment.<\/li>\n<li>Cross-functional role with meaningful impact across Finance, Operations, and Technology.<\/li>\n<li>Competitive compensation, benefits, and long-term career growth opportunities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/counter.adcourier.com\/RWxsaWUuR2l2ZW5zLjk3MzQ3LjExMzA5QG9saXZlcmphbWVzYXNzb2NpYXRlcy5hcGxpdHJhay5jb20.gif\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are partnering with a well-established insurance organization seeking a Business Controls Manager to lead and strengthen its internal controls framework. This is a highly visible leadership opportunity for a professional with a strong <strong>life insurance background<\/strong> and hands-on experience with <strong>ICFR, SOX, and\/or Model Audit Rule (MAR)<\/strong> frameworks.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">This role will partner closely with Finance, Operations, Technology, and senior leadership to evaluate risks, improve processes, implement effective controls, and support a strong governance environment.<\/p>\n<h2>What You Will Do<\/h2>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Lead and enhance the organization&#8217;s internal controls framework, ensuring effective governance and risk mitigation.<\/li>\n<li>Own ICFR, SOX, and MAR-related risk assessments, control scoping, testing coordination, and ongoing monitoring activities.<\/li>\n<li>Partner with Finance, Operations, and Technology teams on new initiatives, system implementations, process changes, and regulatory or accounting updates to ensure appropriate controls are designed and maintained.<\/li>\n<li>Identify control gaps and process improvement opportunities, driving remediation efforts and sustainable solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Support internal and external audits, including walkthroughs, testing support, issue remediation, and control documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Advise senior stakeholders on controls best practices and help foster a strong culture of accountability and continuous improvement.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the company&#8217;s controls governance model and operating framework.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What We Are Looking For<\/h2>\n<h3>Required Experience<\/h3>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Experience in Internal Controls, Internal Audit, SOX compliance, Risk Management, Public Accounting, or a related field.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Prior experience within the Life Insurance industry is required or working with life insurance clients.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Strong experience with ICFR, SOX, and\/or Model Audit Rule (MAR) programs.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Experience assessing financial and operational risks, identifying control deficiencies, and driving remediation efforts.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to collaborate effectively with Finance, Operations, Technology, and executive leadership teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Preferred Qualifications<\/h3>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Knowledge of U.S. Statutory Accounting principles; GAAP experience is a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Experience supporting internal and external audits.<\/li>\n<li>CPA, CIA, CISA, or similar professional certification preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Why This Opportunity?<\/h2>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>High-visibility leadership role with significant exposure to senior executives.<\/li>\n<li>Opportunity to shape and enhance an enterprise-wide controls environment.<\/li>\n<li>Cross-functional role with meaningful impact across Finance, Operations, and Technology.<\/li>\n<li>Competitive compensation, benefits, and long-term career growth opportunities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/counter.adcourier.com\/RWxsaWUuR2l2ZW5zLjU5ODc3LjExMzA5QG9saXZlcmphbWVzYXNzb2NpYXRlcy5hcGxpdHJhay5jb20.gif\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are partnering with a well-established insurance organization seeking a Business Controls Manager to lead and strengthen its internal controls framework.
