This is a business that has built an outstanding reputation for executing sophisticated transactions across Europe and beyond, offering lawyers genuine exposure to high-value, strategically significant deals.<\/p>\n<p> Unlike many in-house legal roles, this position is almost entirely transactional, placing you at the centre of investment activity and giving you the opportunity to work alongside senior investment professionals on acquisitions, disposals and portfolio investments from inception through to completion.<\/p>\n<p> This is an environment where legal is viewed as a genuine commercial partner, not simply a support function.<\/p>\n<h2>The Opportunity<\/h2>\n<p>You&#8217;ll become an integral member of a collaborative and high-performing legal team, working closely with investment professionals on complex domestic and cross-border transactions. Depending on the deal, you&#8217;ll either manage leading external counsel or lead matters internally, providing genuine ownership and responsibility from day one.<\/p>\n<p> The role offers exposure to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Private equity acquisitions and disposals<\/li>\n<li>Complex carve-outs and corporate separations<\/li>\n<li>Add-on acquisitions<\/li>\n<li>Corporate restructurings<\/li>\n<li>Portfolio company legal support<\/li>\n<li>Strategic transaction structuring<\/li>\n<li>Negotiation of key transaction documents<\/li>\n<li>Cross-border investments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n<p>You will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead legal work streams across buy-side and sell-side M&amp;A transactions.<\/li>\n<li>Draft, review and negotiate SPAs and wider transaction documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Advise on transaction structuring and legal risk.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate legal due diligence and regulatory approvals.<\/li>\n<li>Manage external legal advisers while working directly with investment teams.<\/li>\n<li>Support portfolio businesses on corporate and restructuring matters where required.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with senior stakeholders throughout the investment life cycle.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>About You<\/h2>\n<p>We&#8217;re interested in speaking with England &amp; Wales qualified lawyers who have approximately 5-8 years&#8217; PQE gained within a leading Corporate M&amp;A or Private Equity practice, or from a comparable in-house environment.<\/p>\n<p> You&#8217;ll ideally bring:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong private equity and M&amp;A transaction experience<\/li>\n<li>Confidence negotiating complex legal documentation<\/li>\n<li>Excellent commercial judgement<\/li>\n<li>Experience managing multiple live transactions simultaneously<\/li>\n<li>A collaborative approach and the confidence to engage directly with senior investment professionals<\/li>\n<li>An interest in technology and AI-enabled legal working practices<\/li>\n<li>A genuine desire to build a long-term in-house career within private markets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Why This Role?<\/h2>\n<p>Opportunities of this nature are rare.<\/p>\n<p> You&#8217;ll join an established legal function where lawyers are embedded within the deal teams, receive significant responsibility from the outset and benefit from exceptional mentoring and career development. experience with a firm devoted to developing &amp; progressing their people, this ones for you.<\/p>\n<p> Whether you&#8217;re an External Auditor, with strong Financial Statement experience, or a current Deals\/FDD\/TAS professional who is a Databook whiz, this firm should be on your radar. <\/p>\n<p> <strong>Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance, Masters degree preferred<\/li>\n<li>Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferred &#8211; will accept those who are in process<\/li>\n<li>4+ years of experience within Audit, Assurance, Advisory or Deals\/FDD, within a Public Accounting firm (Big 4\/Top 10 preferred )<\/li>\n<li>Experience with large, Public filers (Audit\/Assurance) &amp; High Value Transactions (Deals\/FDD)<\/li>\n<li>High degree of professionalism required- including the ability to communicate with C-Suite level individuals.<\/li>\n<li>Self starter, who can thrive as an Individual Contributor, or in a team-based environment<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, FASB &amp;
