German Speaking &#8211; Contract &#8211; Zurich"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><div><strong>Procurement Specialist &#8211; German Speaking &#8211; Contract &#8211; Zurich<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re currently supporting a leading organisation in the Swiss infrastructure and utilities sector as they look to bring in an experienced <strong>Procurement Specialist \/<\/strong> <strong>Operational Buyer<\/strong> to join their procurement team on an initial <strong>4-month contract<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p> This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong operational procurement experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, supporting purchasing activities while collaborating closely with category management and key business stakeholders.<\/p>\n<h3>The Role<\/h3>\n<p>You&#8217;ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of procurement activities across an assigned category, acting as a key point of contact for purchasing requirements and supporting strategic sourcing initiatives where required.<\/p>\n<p> Working alongside experienced procurement professionals, you&#8217;ll play an important role in ensuring procurement processes remain efficient, compliant and commercially effective.<\/p>\n<h3>Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage day-to-day operational procurement activities across your assigned category.<\/li>\n<li>Support category strategy execution and strategic sourcing initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Raise and manage purchase orders, invoices and supplier payments.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with supplier tenders (RfX processes), contract administration and supplier reviews.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain procurement systems and ensure data accuracy across purchasing platforms.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor supplier performance and identify risks relating to pricing, delivery schedules and capacity.<\/li>\n<li>Produce procurement reporting and KPI tracking.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand purchasing requirements and deliver an excellent procurement service.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>What We&#8217;re Looking For<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous experience in an Operational Buyer or Purchasing role.<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of end-to-end procurement processes.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with ERP\/procurement platforms such as <strong>SAP, Ariba, Oracle<\/strong> or similar.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a busy operational environment.<\/li>\n<li>Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Advanced Microsoft Excel and MS Office skills.<\/li>\n<li>Fluent English and German.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Nice to Have<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Procurement qualifications such as <strong>CIPS<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with digital procurement platforms.<\/li>\n<li>Additional European language skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Contract Details<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Location:<\/strong> Baden, Switzerland (Hybrid working)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Start:<\/strong> ASAP<\/li>\n<li><strong>Duration:<\/strong> Initial 4-month contract<\/li>\n<li><strong>Workload:<\/strong> 100% (5 days per week)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Languages:<\/strong> English &amp;
