With an expanding presence in Asia and strong growth in business activities, the company is now seeking a high-calibre Business Transformation Lead to join the Transformation CoE function in Hong Kong.<\/p>\n<p> The key responsibilities for this position are as follows: <\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Senior member of the Business Transformation CoE function supporting business, distribution and firm-wide transformations initiatives<\/li>\n<li>Strong focus on Distribution Transformation initiatives and projects across Bancassurance, Partnerships and \/ or Agency<\/li>\n<li>Engage with local markets and business units on ideas generation, identify systemic impediments and innovation opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Deep-dive on business process analysis, financial analysis and performance analysis to identify areas of improvement and transformation opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Design project structures, set up approach, project teams, identify resources and priorities to enable the local markets or business units to deliver and execute the transformation initiatives<\/li>\n<li>Provide oversight on a portfolio of key transformation initiatives across one or more business pillars from initiation and pre-execution stage, establishing the project team, resource identification, coaching project teams from planning to kick-start the project implementation &amp; delivery<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with business units and local country project teams on project status, ensuring adherence on execution and governance framework<\/li>\n<li>Monitor project financials and programs progress, alert of issues identified and facilitate mitigation solutions<\/li>\n<li>Recommend transformation and change initiatives, forecast upcoming demands, provide project financial analysis and planning, transfer ideas between countries \/ markets, articulate ideas into execution priorities and action plans<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Successful applicants will have the following skills and experience: <\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An university degree, ideally with project management certification<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in Business Transformation, Distribution Transformation, Business Strategy, Management Consulting, Project Management and \/ or PMO<\/li>\n<li>Industries experience from sizeable international Insurance firms would be preferred, other industries such as Retail Banking, Wealth Management, Private Banking and \/ or Asset Management<\/li>\n<li>Some exposure to Distribution initiatives would be beneficial<\/li>\n<li>Prior experience in management consulting \/ strategy consulting firms focusing on Financial Services sector would be advantageous<\/li>\n<li>Experience in driving, program managing and executing large-scale cross-functional and cross-locations transformation and change management programs with ability to run multiple projects simultaneously<\/li>\n<li>Strong financial analysis skills<\/li>\n<li>Flexibility to travel occasionally<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills with fluency in English ideally with Cantonese and \/ or Mandarin<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/counter.adcourier.com\/YW15LmhvLjk1MTE3LjExMzA5QG9saXZlcmphbWVzYXNzb2NpYXRlcy5hcGxpdHJhay5jb20.gif\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Expanding International Insurance Group Business &amp; Enterprise-wide Transformation Exposure to Distribution Initiatives in Agency and Bancassurance Our client is a leading international Insurance Group offering a diverse range of services across Life Insurance, Pension, Wealth Management and Asset Management. Overseas applicants willing to relocate to Hong Kong are welcomed.<\/p>\n<p> The key responsibilities for this position are as follows:\u202f <\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee end-to-end client due diligence processes for HNW \/ UHNW, offshore \/ Bermuda insurance business, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations and internal risk standards.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct risk-based assessments to define appropriate verification requirements for complex client profiles.<\/li>\n<li>Review and validate key information including source of wealth, funding origins, and ownership structures across sophisticated entities.<\/li>\n<li>Perform screening checks covering sanctions, politically exposed persons (PEPs) and jurisdictional exposure.<\/li>\n<li>Lead enhanced due diligence reviews for higher-risk clients and transactions where required.<\/li>\n<li>Act as the primary escalation contact for intricate or sensitive cases, including trusts, family offices, leverage arrangements and cross-border structures.<\/li>\n<li>Identify potential financial crime risks and escalate concerns relating to fraud, sanctions exposure, or illicit activity.<\/li>\n<li>Partner closely with Compliance and Legal teams when assessing non-standard ownership arrangements or elevated risk exposures.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain strong governance by ensuring consistent application of AML\/CFT frameworks and internal onboarding standards.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out quality assurance on completed reviews, ensuring documentation is complete, accurate, and audit-ready.<\/li>\n<li>Work collaboratively with underwriting, case management, and distribution teams to facilitate efficient onboarding while managing risk appropriately.<\/li>\n<li>Support team capability development through coaching, while contributing to process optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Successful applicants will have the following skills and experience:\u202f  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An university degree ideally with CAMS, ICA, ACAMS or equivalent qualifications<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 10+ years in Client Due Diligence, Client Onboarding, AML \/ KYC gained from Insurance, Private Banking, Wealth Management, Trust \/ Wealth Structuring<\/li>\n<li>Less experienced applicants will be considered at senior team member level<\/li>\n<li>Proven track record in
