Partnering with a High-Growth Life & Annuity Insurance Carrier<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our client, a rapidly growing and well-capitalized life and annuity insurance organization, is seeking an experienced Treasury Director to join their finance leadership team. This is a highly visible role that will oversee critical treasury operations, including liquidity management, custody and trust account administration, collateral management, and strategic banking relationships.<\/p>\n

Reporting directly to senior treasury leadership, this position offers the opportunity to play a key role in supporting the organization’s continued growth while partnering closely with Finance, Investments, Risk, Legal, and external financial institutions. <\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n
    \n
  • Lead the oversight and optimization of custody and trust account operations.<\/li>\n
  • Manage daily liquidity activities and cash forecasting to ensure efficient capital deployment and funding availability.<\/li>\n
  • Oversee collateral and margin monitoring, settlements, and related treasury operations.<\/li>\n
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with banking partners, custodians, trustees, and other financial counterparties.<\/li>\n
  • Support treasury technology initiatives, including implementation and enhancement of treasury management systems.<\/li>\n
  • Monitor and manage FHLB membership, collateral pledging, borrowing capacity, and funding structures.<\/li>\n
  • Assist with reporting and presentations for senior leadership, board committees, rating agencies, regulators, and other stakeholders.<\/li>\n
  • Evaluate and implement treasury process improvements to increase efficiency and strengthen controls.<\/li>\n
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain a robust internal control environment.<\/li>\n
  • Partner cross-functionally on strategic initiatives involving investments, liquidity, capital management, and operational scalability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Qualifications<\/h2>\n
      \n
    • 10+ years of treasury experience with direct exposure to custody and trust account management.<\/li>\n
    • Strong understanding of insurance company liquidity operations, custody banking, trust structures, investment operations, and asset servicing.<\/li>\n
    • Experience working with derivatives, collateral management, and complex investment assets.<\/li>\n
    • Proven success managing relationships with custodians, trustees, banking institutions, and external service providers.<\/li>\n
    • Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to manage complex cross-functional initiatives.<\/li>\n
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience presenting to executive leadership.<\/li>\n
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Preferred Qualifications<\/h3>\n
        \n
      • CPA, CFA, and\/or MBA.<\/li>\n
      • Prior experience within a life insurance or annuity organization.<\/li>\n
      • Treasury management system implementation or optimization experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
