&amp; commercial strategy, procurement capability build and stakeholder engagement.<\/p>\n<p>The role will have a strong focus on technology and data categories due to the large spend area.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ideal candidates will have experience with the following<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Working on technology and data categories<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Experience working within Insurance companies or complex regulated financial services<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Experience in global procurement functions<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Preferable for experience in greenfield projects<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Diverse experience across multiple areas including vendor management, sourcing, contract renewal \/ negotiation and procurement capability build.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; CIPS law firm looking to appoint a Technology Enablement Partner to join its growing Technology function.<\/p>\n<p>This is a senior, business-facing role that will act as a key bridge between Technology, the firm&#8217;s legal practice groups and its business services teams.<\/p>\n<p>The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders across the firm to understand their priorities, identify opportunities and shape practical solutions using technology, AI and automation.<\/p>\n<p>Key responsibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Building trusted relationships with legal practice groups and business teams<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Identifying where technology, AI and automation could improve business outcomes<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Translating business challenges into clear solution options and recommendations<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Helping teams maximise the value of existing technology<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Assessing new requests and determining the appropriate delivery route<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Working closely with Change, Business Analysis and Technology colleagues<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Supporting solutions through delivery, adoption and value realisation<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Contributing to the firm&#8217;s wider technology and innovation community<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is not a hands-on development role. However, you will need sufficient technical understanding to discuss solutions credibly, recognise what is possible and translate effectively between business stakeholders and technical specialists.<\/p>\n<p>The ideal candidate will bring:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Experience in technology business partnering, legal innovation, digital transformation, product or solutions-focused roles<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Strong stakeholder-management, communication and influencing skills<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Experience identifying business problems and shaping technology-enabled solutions<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>An understanding of AI, automation, low-code\/no-code tools or emerging technology<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The ability to operate effectively between business and technical teams<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>A pragmatic, collaborative and commercially focused approach<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Experience within a law firm or wider professional-services environment development into the Management grades<\/p>\n<p>Candidates carrying a number of the below skills would be particularly relevant:-<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong skills in areas such as cyber strategy, cyber risk, cyber maturity, security architecture, cyber transformation and regulatory compliance for cyber.<\/li>\n<li>Experience of various recognised cyber security relevant standards and regulations, such as NIST CSF, CRI2.0, ISO27001, NCSC CAF, GDPR and NIS2.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working in a variety of environments or organisational contexts to develop cyber strategy and manage cyber risk.<\/li>\n<li>Desire to work with large organisations trying to solve the latest cyber security problems.<\/li>\n<li>Relevant certifications, such as M.Inst.ISP, CISSP, CISM, CISA or an MSc in cyber security or a related discipline.<\/li>\n<li>Practical experience across various areas of cyber security, such as cyber architecture, cyber GRC, cyber threat management, vulnerability management, cyber security reviews.<\/li>\n<li>Detail oriented and strong problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent oral and written communication skills including concisely communicating status As a Director within their UK Financial Services Cyber practice, you will be responsible for building and developing a team that will enjoy finding creative solutions to our client&#8217;s cyber issues. You will assist clients in one or more specific sub-sectors within Financial Services, which covers Banking &amp; Capital Markets, Insurance &amp; Investment Management, Fin\/Reg Techs, Regulators and Challengers. In return, they offer an unparalleled career path that is full of variety with opportunities to gain insight into many different cyber specialisms, wider technology risk challenges and to collaborate with your colleagues on exciting and high-profile projects.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Your role<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You will be someone wants to capitalise on your already a) strong Financial Services reputation and network b) deep Cyber Security subject matter expertise and c) strong leadership qualities.<\/p>\n<p>As a Director in Financial Services Cyber, your responsibilities will include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Being comfortable developing the market for Cyber Security services, primarily across Financial Services organisations, through the development of effective client relationships and championing the services<\/li>\n<li>Project focus on Financial Services clients, from sales and marketing through to defining key functional processes<\/li>\n<li>Understanding and anticipating client needs based on a strong understanding of Financial Services specific requirements<\/li>\n<li>Delivering a portfolio of cyber-related engagements across our business, including effective people management on client engagements and working seamlessly and collaboratively with colleagues in other parts of the organisation and globe<\/li>\n<li>Having a broad perspective of potential issues encountered when managing diverse teams and the strategies to overcome them; having a clear understanding of the firm&#8217;s commitment to creating a more inclusive culture<\/li>\n<li>Contributing to the development of the service by identifying opportunities for improving the value our services provide to clients and the efficiency of our go to market activity<\/li>\n<li>Capturing and enhancing intellectual property and know &#8220;know how&#8221; through engagements with clients and your awareness of the digital marketplace<\/li>\n<li>Leading the development and implementation of existing and new market propositions across financial services, collaborating closely with appropriate colleagues throughout the organisation<\/li>\n<li>Attracting world-class talent<\/li>\n<li>Contributing to the latest thought-leadership and industry research relating to cyber security and organisational crisis and response management to cyber issues<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Your professional experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To be successful in this role you should have:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Extensive Cyber Security experience either within the Financial Services or, ideally within a major consultancy\/professional services firm with Financial Services clients<\/li>\n<li>Broad range of security experience though with a distinct specialism in at least one area, e.g. cyber strategy, security target operating models, security transformation programmes, security change initiatives, security technologies, privacy etc..<\/li>\n<li>You will likely hold certifications such as CCP, CISSP, CISM, CCNP, CIPP\/E preferred<\/li>\n<li>Excellent commercial awareness and business acumen, including specifically a good understanding of cyber risk to both business processes and supporting technology<\/li>\n<li>You will have great interpersonal skills and experience of developing effective, long-lasting client relationships, either as a consultant or demonstration of significant influencing abilities within an organisation and demonstrable ability to solve complex problems objectively, using an appropriate combination of analysis, experience and judgement<\/li>\n<li>Delivery of high-quality complex projects including effective programme, project, financial and people management<\/li>\n<li>Ability to take complex analysis and to present and communicate it in a concise and clear manner, appropriately tailored to people from a very wide range of cultures, technical backgrounds and seniorities<\/li>\n<li>Self-confidence\/enthusiasm to be involved in business development activities<\/li>\n<li>Existing security clearance or willingness to undergo vetting procedures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/counter.adcourier.com\/ZHNoLjYzODE5LjExMzA5QG9saXZlcmphbWVzYXNzb2NpYXRlcy5hcGxpdHJhay5jb20.gif\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Oliver James are partnered with a leading, world-class Cyber Security practice seeking to recruit Directors with a specialism within UK Financial Services.
