As the business moves into year-end closing from October onwards, the requirement is expected to increase to 80-100%.<\/p>\n<p>Due to Luxembourg legal requirements, the successful candidate must be available to work 100% onsite in Luxembourg.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage day-to-day A-Z accounting activities<\/li>\n<li>Bank accounting and reconciliation<\/li>\n<li>Vendor \/ accounts payable accounting<\/li>\n<li>Customer \/ accounts receivable accounting<\/li>\n<li>Processing and management of bulk payments<\/li>\n<li>Support monthly closing activities<\/li>\n<li>Support annual financial statements and year-end closing<\/li>\n<li>Assist with general accounting operations and operational stabilisation<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with the local Finance and Accounting teams<\/li>\n<li>Provide additional support during periods of increased workload and transition<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Ideal Background \/ Experience:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong hands-on accounting background, ideally at Senior Accountant level<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience across A-Z \/ operational accounting activities<\/li>\n<li>Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of IFRS<\/li>\n<li>Experience working within international or complex corporate environments<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment<\/li>\n<li>Fluent German and English communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Availability to work 100% onsite in Luxembourg<\/li>\n<li>Experience with Document Capture solutions<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of local GAAP, particularly Belgian and French GAAP<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience supporting accounting teams through periods of transition, operational change or increased workload<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are an experienced This is a unique opportunity to join a company in its early stages, where you&#8217;ll have a direct impact on building processes, improving controls, and helping shape the future of the accounting function.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"854\" data-end=\"1036\">If you&#8217;re someone who enjoys solving problems, creating scalable processes, and working alongside experienced industry leaders, this could be the opportunity you&#8217;ve been waiting for.<\/p>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"mnzuv\" data-start=\"1038\" data-end=\"1061\">What You&#8217;ll Be Doing<\/h2>\n<ul data-start=\"1063\" data-end=\"1933\">\n<li data-section-id=\"413ore\" data-start=\"1063\" data-end=\"1143\">Lead the month-end and quarter-end close process for various accounting areas.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1sok2mp\" data-start=\"1144\" data-end=\"1223\">Prepare and review GAAP and Statutory accounting entries and reconciliations.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"o7gcej\" data-start=\"1224\" data-end=\"1290\">Assist with statutory and GAAP financial reporting requirements.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"bihosz\" data-start=\"1291\" data-end=\"1416\">Partner with investment accounting, actuarial, treasury, FP&amp;A, and operations teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1r240gi\" data-start=\"1417\" data-end=\"1551\">Help establish and enhance accounting policies, internal controls, and operational processes as the organization continues to scale.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"plbp1d\" data-start=\"1552\" data-end=\"1606\">Support external audits and regulatory examinations.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"19q39vx\" data-start=\"1607\" data-end=\"1693\">Research accounting guidance and assist with technical accounting matters as needed.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1c769wo\" data-start=\"1694\" data-end=\"1809\">Mentor and develop members of the accounting team while contributing to a collaborative, high-performing culture.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"z46hiy\" data-start=\"1810\" data-end=\"1933\">Participate in special projects, including process improvements, automation initiatives, and new product implementations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"nbk8dt\" data-start=\"1935\" data-end=\"1960\">What We&#8217;re Looking For<\/h2>\n<ul data-start=\"1962\" data-end=\"2422\">\n<li data-section-id=\"pwxe09\" data-start=\"1962\" data-end=\"2007\">Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Accounting or Finance.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1fkx6se\" data-start=\"2008\" data-end=\"2036\">CPA designation preferred.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"18twc26\" data-start=\"2037\" data-end=\"2103\">5+ years of accounting experience within the insurance industry.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1lfcb2r\" data-start=\"2104\" data-end=\"2170\">Strong understanding of <strong data-start=\"2130\" data-end=\"2169\">Life &amp; Annuity insurance accounting<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1n8howb\" data-start=\"2171\" data-end=\"2233\">Experience with both Statutory and GAAP reporting preferred.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1dpifc8\" data-start=\"2234\" data-end=\"2285\">Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1s8txnw\" data-start=\"2286\" data-end=\"2344\">Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1wb9skq\" data-start=\"2345\" data-end=\"2422\">Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/counter.adcourier.com\/Um9iZXJ0LkRpY2tlcnNvbi4wOTY3NS4xMTMwOUBvbGl2ZXJqYW1lc2Fzc29jaWF0ZXMuYXBsaXRyYWsuY29t.gif\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Accounting Manager &#8211; Life Insurance Location: Charlotte or Raliegh, North Carolina Preferred | Remote Possible Are you looking for an opportunity to help build something from the ground up rather than stepping into a well-established environment?
