    We’re keen to speak with Tax professionals who are:<\/p>\n

      Experienced in public accounting tax<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Comfortable preparing and\/or reviewing income tax returns.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      For the Tax Manager<\/strong> level, a CPA and significant public accounting experience are strongly preferred, along with a demonstrated ability to research complex tax matters and deliver practical planning solutions.<\/p>\n

      Experience with CCH ProSystem fx<\/strong> and working in a paperless environment would also be beneficial.<\/p>\n

We’re looking for someone vendor-neutral who can step into cross-domain complexity, close out technical decisions that span multiple teams, and translate them into sequenced, value-led delivery, without stepping on Product’s or Engineering’s toes.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Working across 3-4 teams spanning Business, Technology, and third-party vendors, you’ll define target and transition architecture for the SMS stack, assess integration patterns, and advise on the build vs. buy vs. reuse decisions that will shape the platform’s future.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Key responsibilities include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>Defining target and transition architecture across the SMS\/communications stack, including delivery, short codes, templates, consent, retention and orchestration.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding how core platform components (e.g. DCP, EP, SLX, Chorus) and Line of Business systems fit together, and the cross-domain impacts of architectural change.<\/li>\n<li>Advising on build vs. buy vs. reuse decisions, with the judgment to know when each is the right call.<\/li>\n<li>Working across 3-4 teams to understand integration patterns and assess the implications of decisions across each.<\/li>\n<li>Closing cross-domain technical decisions and translating them into sequenced, value-led delivery work.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting vendor evaluation, ideally staying through the first end-to-end implementation.<\/li>\n<li>Advising on the operating model: vendor management, consent enforcement, records\/legal hold, incident ownership and LOB adoption.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">We’re looking for someone with strong Enterprise Architecture experience within SMS\/communications platforms, and a clear understanding of transition architecture and how decisions in one domain (e.g. login\/authentication) ripple into others.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">You’ll be confident operating vendor-neutral, comfortable closing decisions across multiple stakeholder groups, and experienced enough to advise credibly on operating model considerations in a regulated environment. leading Life Insurance organization that’s looking for a hands-on Senior Software Engineer to help extend and integrate its Mainframe-based annuity policy administration environment with AWS.<\/p>\n<p>This is not a Mainframe migration role, and it’s not a purely Mainframe role either. The business isn’t moving away from the Mainframe – the focus is on building modern capabilities around and on top of the existing platform, primarily Vantage (DXC). This position is ideal for a seasoned claims professional with strong litigation, coverage, and complex claim-handling experience who can exercise sound judgment and work independently on high-severity matters.<\/p>\n<h3>Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage a complex caseload of commercial general liability claims, including high-severity and litigated matters.<\/li>\n<li>Investigate claims thoroughly by reviewing coverage, liability, damages, contracts, medical records, expert reports, and other relevant documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Analyze and interpret commercial insurance policies and make sound coverage determinations.<\/li>\n<li>Handle claims involving significant liability exposure, multiple parties, complex fact patterns, and challenging coverage issues.<\/li>\n<li>Direct and collaborate with defense counsel throughout the litigation process, including strategy development, discovery, depositions, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.<\/li>\n<li>Establish appropriate claim reserves and continuously evaluate exposure as new information becomes available.<\/li>\n<li>Negotiate settlements within appropriate authority levels while protecting the carrier’s financial and legal interests.<\/li>\n<li>Identify coverage concerns, liability trends, fraud indicators, and other potential areas of increased exposure.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate and timely claim documentation in accordance with company guidelines, regulatory requirements, and best practices.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with underwriting, legal, risk management, and other internal stakeholders as appropriate.<\/li>\n<li>Provide recommendations regarding claim strategy, settlement authority, reserving, and litigation management.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate strong ownership and accountability for assigned claims while maintaining a high level of customer service and professionalism.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Required Qualifications<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>7+ years of commercial liability claims experience<\/strong>, preferably within a carrier environment.<\/li>\n<li>Significant experience handling <strong>Commercial General Liability (CGL) claims<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience managing <strong>litigated claims<\/strong> from assignment through resolution.<\/li>\n<li>Strong <strong>insurance coverage analysis<\/strong> experience, including the ability to interpret policy language and identify coverage issues.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working directly with <strong>defense counsel, coverage counsel, insureds, brokers, and other claims professionals<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to evaluate liability, damages, coverage, and litigation exposure on complex claims.<\/li>\n<li>Strong negotiation and settlement skills.<\/li>\n<li>Experience establishing and maintaining appropriate claim reserves.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making abilities.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to independently manage a complex caseload while prioritizing competing deadlines and exposures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Interested or know someone who would be?
