role<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>An MNC direct life insurer is launching a new private wealth product covering Singapore, Mainland China, Taiwan and Hong Kong, and we&#8217;re building the compliance capability for it here in Singapore. This is a genuinely formative role: you&#8217;ll be the person establishing how client screening and due diligence works for the product from day one, in partnership with our teams in Bermuda and Ireland.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What you&#8217;ll be doing<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reviewing and assessing Client Due Diligence (CDD) documentation for new business applications and in-force servicing requests, against risk appetite, policy and procedure<\/li>\n<li>Screening individual clients<\/li>\n<li>Identifying and escalating money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions, fraud, adverse media and wider financial crime risk<\/li>\n<li>Recommending appropriate due diligence measures, including Enhanced Due Diligence, and validating customer risk ratings<\/li>\n<li>Carrying out ongoing monitoring, third-party due diligence and quality assurance reviews<\/li>\n<li>Advising stakeholders across the business on CDD requirements<\/li>\n<li>Managing your own workflow to meet SLAs, and contributing to process improvements as the product scales<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What we&#8217;re looking for<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3-5 years in AML\/CFT, CDD or KYC. <strong>We welcome applications from banking, wealth management and wider financial services<\/strong> &#8211; if you have strong financial crime fundamentals, you will be taught the product<\/li>\n<li>Mandarin and Cantonese language skills are highly preferred for communication with Greater China counterparts<\/li>\n<li>Experience across varied entity types: financial institutions, quoted and private companies, partnerships and trusts<\/li>\n<li>Strong investigative research skills and sound analytical judgement, with the ability to document findings clearly<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with screening systems (Bridger or similar), and solid Excel and PowerPoint<\/li>\n<li>A recognised AML, compliance or risk certification is an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Someone who&#8217;s proactive and comfortable working with autonomy, while knowing when to escalate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/counter.adcourier.com\/Q2xhcmlzc2EuV29uZy44MTQ1Ni4xMTMwOUBvbGl2ZXJqYW1lc2Fzc29jaWF0ZXMuYXBsaXRyYWsuY29t.gif\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>6-12-month contract \u00b7 Singapore \u00b7 Hybrid About the role An MNC direct life insurer is launching a new private wealth product covering Singapore, Mainland China, Taiwan and Hong Kong, and we&#8217;re building the compliance capability for it here in Singapore. our client is offering a competitive compensation package, strong hybrid working, excellent benefits, a clear route for progression and much more!<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>Serve as a member of the finance team responsible for accounting and financial reporting oversight for the firm&#8217;s CLO business.<\/li>\n<li>Own the financial reporting process, including monthly performance estimates, close packages\/NAV, allocations, waterfalls and fund returns.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the Fund Administrator responsible for investor reporting, including quarterly investor statements, annual audits, due diligence requests, capital calls and distributions.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in cash management forecasts and budgets, alongside debt facility oversight, to establish capital available for investment.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee compliance of fund credit facilities, accurately interpreting agreements while maintaining thorough knowledge of the underlying asset portfolio.<\/li>\n<li>Perform data analysis on large asset portfolios, including data reconciliation and calculation of portfolio compliance tests such as portfolio quality and concentration ratios.<\/li>\n<li>Review performance fee calculations and respond to investor queries around fund performance, NAVs, taxes and other areas.<\/li>\n<li>Support audit and tax professionals during year-end audit and tax reporting, and assist with SEC or other regulatory compliance as required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>8-12 years of accounting\/finance experience; Private Credit"},"content":{"rendered":"<p dir=\"ltr\">Oliver James have recently partnered with a leading global private markets investment firm as they seek to hire a Vice President of Portfolio Finance Operations to join their Portfolio Finance team in New York or Chicago.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The Vice President will be a leadership role within the team, holding firm-wide responsibility for deal funding, liquidity and financing across both the firm&#8217;s Private Credit and Private Equity strategies.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The ideal candidate would possess 7+ years of investment management experience, including at least 3 years managing private market processes and portfolios, combined with a strong quantitative and financial engineering mindset; our client is offering a competitive compensation package, exposure to firm-wide strategy, direct engagement with senior stakeholders and lenders, and much more!<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>Work with Private Equity and Private Credit investment teams, Investment Strategy &amp;
