including:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>IFRS 17 liquidity premium modelling and calibration<\/li>\n<li>Capital and economic risk modelling<\/li>\n<li>Market and credit risk modelling<\/li>\n<li>Stochastic modelling and calibration<\/li>\n<li>Model development, methodology and validation<\/li>\n<li>Solvency II and balance sheet modelling<\/li>\n<li>Technical modelling projects across the Group<\/li>\n<li>Supporting the organisation&#8217;s growing APAC operations<\/li>\n<li>Working with and providing technical guidance to an international actuarial team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>About You<\/h3>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">We are looking for a recently qualified Life Actuary, or someone close to qualification, with a strong technical modelling background.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Ideally, you will have experience across areas such as:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Capital or risk modelling<\/li>\n<li>Solvency II \/ SCR<\/li>\n<li>Stochastic modelling<\/li>\n<li>Market or credit risk<\/li>\n<li>Model development and calibration<\/li>\n<li>R, MATLAB, VBA, Python, Excel or similar<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Most importantly, you will enjoy getting into the detail of how models work and be comfortable developing, challenging and explaining technical methodology.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">APAC experience is useful but not essential. DevOps Automation<\/strong><br \/> Strong experience with CI\/CD and deployment tooling, including Git\/Bitbucket, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, Chef and\/or XLR.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Act as a steward of production, ensuring services remain reliable, available, observable and operationally resilient.<\/li>\n<li>Support the full lifecycle of services from design and development through deployment, operation and continuous improvement.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and maintain production and near-production environments, focusing on uptime, observability and system health.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and improve Splunk and Dynatrace queries, dashboards, alerts and monitoring capabilities.<\/li>\n<li>Investigate production incidents and use observability data to identify root causes and improve reliability.<\/li>\n<li>Support the running and deployment of AI workloads and internal AI-enabled services.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with developers to develop, deploy and operate internal AI tools and platforms.<\/li>\n<li>Support and improve CI\/CD pipelines and deployment processes.<\/li>\n<li>Run deployment plans using tools such as XLR and identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency and automation.<\/li>\n<li>Develop automation to reduce manual intervention and improve software delivery.<\/li>\n<li>Review operational and deployment processes and recommend improvements.<\/li>\n<li>Support services before launch through system design reviews, capacity planning and operational readiness assessments.<\/li>\n<li>Measure and monitor availability, latency, performance and overall system health.<\/li>\n<li>Scale systems sustainably through automation and engineering best practices.<\/li>\n<li>Analyse IT service management activities and provide feedback on operational gaps and resiliency concerns.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in incident response and blameless post-incident reviews.<\/li>\n<li>Troubleshoot issues across the technology stack to reduce mean time to recovery (MTTR).<\/li>\n<li>Work collaboratively with development, operations and product teams.<\/li>\n<li>Share technical knowledge and mentor junior engineers.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with globally distributed teams across multiple locations and time zones.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience &amp; The role will provide the opportunity to influence <strong>underwriting strategy, pricing, portfolio direction and future market development<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Take ownership of underwriting and managing a P&amp;C Treaty portfolio<\/li>\n<li>Develop and grow relationships across <strong>Asian and international reinsurance markets<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Lead pricing, negotiation and structuring of treaty business<\/li>\n<li>Support portfolio steering and underwriting strategy<\/li>\n<li>Build strong relationships with brokers, cedants and market partners<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the continued growth and development of an established business<\/li>\n<li>Act as a senior technical reference point within the underwriting team<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with actuarial, claims, risk and technical teams<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>About You<\/h3>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">We are looking for an experienced Treaty Underwriter with:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li><strong>7+ years&#8217; experience in P&amp;C Treaty reinsurance underwriting<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Proven experience across <strong>European and\/or Asian reinsurance markets<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Strong technical underwriting and pricing expertise<\/li>\n<li>Experience with complex P&amp;C treaty risks<\/li>\n<li>Strong commercial judgement and negotiation skills<\/li>\n<li>An established broker and cedant network<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and relationship-management skills<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in English; additional languages would be advantageous<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Why Consider the Role?<\/h3>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">This is more than a traditional underwriting position. State Expansion<\/strong> to lead the regulatory and operational execution of new state market launches.
