The business operates at considerable scale across Medicare, Medicaid and employer-sponsored coverage and are now looking to add a credentialed Health Actuary to its already  sizeable team. <\/p>\n<p>Within this role you will use financial and actuarial principles to assess the impact of company decision making. Using your product line knowledge (preferably medicare) you will oversee pricing, underwriting, statistics, reserving, forecasting and other actuarial requirements.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Role requirements: <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>ASA or FSA credentialed<\/li>\n<li>Health actuarial experience <\/li>\n<li>Preference for deep medicare knowledge<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This opportunity is offering the scale and resources of a major payer while still giving you ownership of complex, high-impact actuarial work. This is a technical role handling mid to complex Commercial General Liability claims across a diverse portfolio. You will manage claims from first notice through resolution, with a strong focus on coverage analysis, litigation strategy, and stakeholder management.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"707\" data-end=\"731\">Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Handle complex CGL claims including <strong data-start=\"770\" data-end=\"873\">premises liability, slip &amp; falls and other bodily injury cases<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Handle coverage matters including writing own coverage letters and coverage decisions<\/li>\n<li>Manage litigated files, coordinating defense counsel and driving strategy through to resolution<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate liability, damages, and settlement exposure on higher-severity claims<\/li>\n<li>Maintain strong relationships with brokers, insureds, attorneys, and internal provide insights to support strategic and investment decisions.<\/li>\n<li>Lead complex projects and provide analytical support on emerging business priorities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Ideal Background<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or a related discipline; advanced qualifications are a plus.<\/li>\n<li>5+ years of experience in FP&amp;A<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to senior stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Strong financial modeling, forecasting,
