The successful candidate will have significant ownership across financial close, SEC reporting, technical accounting, internal controls, external audit, finance systems and team development.<\/p>\n<h2>Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Lead the monthly, quarterly and annual close process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP<\/li>\n<li>Take final ownership of the general ledger, journal entries, account reconciliations and financial statements<\/li>\n<li>Oversee SEC reporting and external filings in partnership with internal stakeholders, legal counsel and external auditors<\/li>\n<li>Lead technical accounting research and prepare position papers covering complex or judgmental matters<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain the company&#8217;s internal-control environment, including SOX readiness and ongoing compliance<\/li>\n<li>Manage the external-audit process, including planning, deliverables and issue resolution<\/li>\n<li>Oversee treasury operations and cash management in partnership with the CFO<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with external tax advisors on tax provisions, compliance and planning<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate and improve finance systems, the chart of accounts and reporting processes<\/li>\n<li>Identify opportunities to automate and streamline accounting operations<\/li>\n<li>Build, mentor and lead the accounting team as the organization expands<\/li>\n<li>Present financial results, reporting matters and control updates to the CFO, senior leadership, board and audit committee<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Candidate Profile<\/h2>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>CPA required<\/li>\n<li>At least 10 years of progressive accounting experience<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience leading accounting teams and developing talent<\/li>\n<li>Direct SEC reporting and public-company accounting experience<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, technical accounting and financial-reporting requirements<\/li>\n<li>Experience researching complex accounting matters and drafting technical memoranda<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of internal-control frameworks, including SOX and COSO<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated success managing external audits<\/li>\n<li>Experience building or scaling accounting processes within a growing organization<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of ERP, close and consolidation systems<\/li>\n<li>Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on when necessary<\/li>\n<li>Experience supporting an IPO, public-company transition or newly listed business<\/li>\n<li>Experience implementing or upgrading an ERP or financial-reporting system<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2> <\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<p><em>To be considered for this opportunity, please apply using the prompts provided. The ambition is to build an AI-first operating platform that can transform how key processes are delivered across the business.<\/p>\n<p>The platform will support key functional areas including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Underwriting<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Intake and onboarding<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Claims processing<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Policy Administration (PAS)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Broker portal capabilities<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The organization is strategically bringing ownership of capabilities currently managed by an external vendor in-house, creating new internal product and delivery capabilities as part of the transformation.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h3>About you:<\/h3>\n<p>We&#8217;re looking for a Product Owner or Product Manager with strong experience working within complex platform environments and a proven track record of hands-on product delivery.<\/p>\n<p>Experience working on AI-enabled products or platforms is highly desirable. Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 2-3 years&#8217; experience in a payroll administration or payroll specialist position.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrable experience handling payroll volumes within a busy organisation; the delivery of complex digital products and large-scale programmes across Absence, Claims and front-end customer experiences<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Partnering with stakeholders to gather requirements, identify gaps and drive clarity in a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Working closely with UX to ensure requirements and technical solutions Je brengt de huidige en gewenste situatie in kaart, vertaalt dit naar een concreet veranderplan en begeleidt het team stap voor stap van IST naar SOLL.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Daarbij houd je je onder andere bezig met:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>leidinggeven aan een team van professionals met voornamelijk een technische en inhoudelijke achtergrond;<\/li>\n<li>sturen op kwartaaldoelstellingen, kwaliteit, capaciteit en planning;<\/li>\n<li>professionaliseren en uniformeren van incidentonderzoeken en veiligheidsadviezen;<\/li>\n<li>cre\u00ebren van duidelijke rollen, verantwoordelijkheden en eigenaarschap;<\/li>\n<li>ontwikkelen en uitvoeren van een concreet verander- en implementatieplan;<\/li>\n<li>begeleiden van medewerkers bij nieuwe processen en manieren van werken;<\/li>\n<li>versterken van samenwerking, aanspreekcultuur en professioneel eigenaarschap;<\/li>\n<li>adviseren over complexe veiligheids- en risicovraagstukken;<\/li>\n<li>samenwerken met HR, medezeggenschap, management en andere stakeholders;<\/li>\n<li>rapporteren over de voortgang van de veranderopgave aan het managementteam.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Wanneer de situatie daarom vraagt, ben je bovendien niet bang om zelf inhoudelijk in te springen, bijvoorbeeld bij een gevoelig onderzoeksrapport of een complex veiligheidsvraagstuk.<\/p>\n<h2>Waarom is deze opdracht interessant?<\/h2>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Dit is geen klassieke interim-managementrol waarin je uitsluitend &#8220;op de winkel past&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Je krijgt juist de mogelijkheid om zichtbare verandering te realiseren binnen een omgeving waar veiligheid, maatschappelijke impact en operationele continu\u00efteit samenkomen.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Je werkt op het snijvlak van mens, organisatie, veiligheid en verandering en hebt direct invloed op de manier waarop belangrijke incidenten worden onderzocht, risico&#8217;s worden beoordeeld en lessen daadwerkelijk worden vertaald naar verbetering.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Aan het einde van de opdracht moet er niet alleen een stabiel team staan, maar ook een professionelere werkwijze, duidelijker eigenaarschap en aantoonbaar betere output.<\/p>\n<h2>Wie zoeken we?<\/h2>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">We zoeken een ervaren interim manager die snel ziet wat een team nodig heeft, vertrouwen weet op te bouwen en tegelijkertijd niet terugdeinst voor duidelijke keuzes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Je beschikt in ieder geval over:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>een afgeronde hbo- of wo-opleiding;<\/li>\n<li>minimaal 5 jaar aantoonbare interim-managementervaring binnen grotere organisaties van meer dan 1.000 medewerkers;<\/li>\n<li>minimaal 2 jaar ervaring met veranderopdrachten waarbij je een team of organisatieonderdeel naar een nieuwe werkwijze of inrichting hebt begeleid;<\/li>\n<li>ervaring met het leidinggeven aan MBO+\/HBO-professionals, bij voorkeur in een technische omgeving;<\/li>\n<li>ervaring binnen een complexe, veiligheidskritische of sterk gereguleerde omgeving;<\/li>\n<li>ervaring met operationele processen, procedures en kwaliteitssturing;<\/li>\n<li>ervaring met het verbeteren van onderzoeks-, rapportage- of adviesproducten.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Ervaring binnen transport, infrastructuur, industrie, energie, aviation, utilities of een andere safety-critical omgeving sluit bijzonder goed aan.<\/p>\n<h2>Wat typeert jou?<\/h2>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Je combineert natuurlijk leiderschap met veranderkracht.
