This role will require &#8220;rolling the sleeves&#8221; as well as strategy focused. It will be 4 days a week in office.<\/p>\n<p> The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting skills, a high degree of discretion, and the ability to manage a varied workload in a lean, entrepreneurial environment<\/p>\n<p> <strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Run the monthly close and overall financial reporting process.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare financial reports and reporting packages on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis<\/li>\n<li>Work with outside CPAs on tax preparation and filings for various business entities, including partnerships and LLCs.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with property managers on rent collection, operating expenses, leases, and daily property needs.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with real estate brokers regarding leasing, vacancies, and other property transactions.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate accounting records for the family office and related entities.<\/li>\n<li>Handle bills, vendor payments, and accounts payable.<\/li>\n<li>Complete ongoing bank and general ledger reconciliations.<\/li>\n<li>Help improve financial processes and workflows, including finding ways to use AI to increase efficiency.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with special projects, financial analysis, and other tasks as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain strict confidentiality when handling family and financial matters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.<\/li>\n<li>Accounting or finance experience required, with family office, private equity, or public accounting experience preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Tax experience required<\/li>\n<li>CPA certification or currently working toward a CPA is strongly preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software; familiarity with accounts payable systems is a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Advanced Excel skills required.<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting practices.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with real estate accounting or property-level financial management is a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently, take initiative, stay organized, and manage multiple priorities in a small-team environment.<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with outside advisors and vendors.<\/li>\n<li>High level of professionalism, integrity, confidentiality, and discretion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please apply or reach out to Michael Cellier on michael.cellier@oliverjames.com<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/counter.adcourier.com\/bWljaGFlbC5jZWxsaWVyLjMzNDY4LjExMzA5QG9saXZlcmphbWVzYXNzb2NpYXRlcy5hcGxpdHJhay5jb20.gif\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Single Family Office, based in LA, is looking for an experienced accountant to run the accounting, finance, tax and real estate for the firm. State Expansion<\/strong> to lead the regulatory and operational execution of new state market launches. They&#8217;re looking for an experienced RPA Developer to lead the lift-and-shift of existing processes into the new platform.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>The Role:<\/strong><br \/> You&#8217;ll work closely with an in-house team of Blue Prism-experienced RPA Developers (plus a development team based in India) to assess and migrate existing automations, ensuring Power Automate is the right fit for each process before rebuilding it.
