You&#8217;ll help define the architecture and technical direction of the platform, while remaining close to the code and providing technical leadership across the wider engineering team.<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ll work closely with Product, Engineering, and Architecture teams to translate business requirements into scalable solutions, while helping establish the engineering standards and practices that will support the platform long term.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key responsibilities include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Providing hands-on technical leadership across the design, development, and delivery of a cloud-native platform.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Defining architecture and technical direction across applications, APIs, integrations, data, security, reliability, and scalability.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Leading technical design discussions and making pragmatic decisions around complex engineering trade-offs.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Remaining hands-on with development while guiding other engineers and influencing technical decisions across teams.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Establishing engineering best practices across architecture, code quality, automated testing, CI\/CD, observability, and production reliability.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Identifying and mitigating technical and architectural risks before they impact delivery.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Mentoring senior engineers and helping raise technical capability across the wider organization.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What we&#8217;re looking for:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>We&#8217;re looking for a highly experienced, hands-on Staff Engineer who enjoys having genuine influence over how a platform is designed and built. You should be comfortable setting technical direction while still getting into the detail and solving complex engineering problems yourself.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>You&#8217;ll ideally have strong experience designing and building cloud-native platforms and distributed systems, with a background across modern application architecture, APIs, integrations, cloud technologies, security, and reliability.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Just as importantly, you&#8217;ll need to be comfortable influencing technical direction across multiple teams and working through complex trade-offs. is looking for an experienced <strong>Finance Systems Specialist \/ Finance Systems Accountant<\/strong> to support a major period of growth and international expansion.<\/p>\n<p>The immediate focus will be supporting the finance systems setup for a <strong>new international office<\/strong>, working closely with Finance, Technology and third-party vendors to ensure the financial structures, processes and reporting are configured and tested correctly.<\/p>\n<p>This isn&#8217;t a standard application support role &#8211; we&#8217;re looking for someone who genuinely understands <strong>accounting and how it translates into the finance system<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\udd39 Strong <strong>Aderant Expert<\/strong> experience &#8211; Elite 3E also considered<br \/>\ud83d\udd39 General Ledger design and <strong>GL mapping<\/strong><br \/>\ud83d\udd39 Strong understanding of <strong>AP, AR, billing and cash\/accrual accounting<\/strong><br \/>\ud83d\udd39 Finance systems implementation, configuration and testing<br \/>\ud83d\udd39 Testing transactions from sub-ledgers through to the GL<br \/>\ud83d\udd39 Financial data validation and reconciliation<br \/>\ud83d\udd39 Experience working closely with management\/financial accountants<br \/>\ud83d\udd39 New office, company or legal entity setup experience highly desirable<br \/>\ud83d\udd39 Legal sector experience strongly preferred<br \/>\ud83d\udd39 SQL \/ financial reporting experience beneficial<\/p>\n<p>The ideal candidate will come from a <strong>Finance Systems Accountant, Systems Accountant, Finance Systems Manager or Senior Finance Systems Analyst<\/strong> background and combine strong systems knowledge with a solid understanding of the underlying accounting processes.<\/p>\n<p>There is also potential for further project work supporting wider international growth and future finance transformation initiatives.<\/p>\n<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\">Recent experience working in a <strong>Finance Systems role within a law firm is essential<\/strong> to be considered for this Transformation professionals to drive the design and execution of priorities across the Wealth business strategies and business growth, targeting HNW \/ UHNW \/ Private Banking customer segment for legacy planning, protection solutions, and wealth transfer.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and execute the Wealth growth strategy, establish key performance metrics, monitor business performance, and conduct ongoing market assessments to identify strategic opportunities across priority markets.<\/li>\n<li>Lead market expansion initiatives, including opportunity evaluation, market entry planning, licensing requirements, entity establishment, and operational readiness across international jurisdictions.<\/li>\n<li>Serve as a project lead when driving execution of strategic initiatives, overseeing programme governance, and coordinating senior leadership engagement through steering committees and management forums across multiple markets.<\/li>\n<li>Design and implement cross-border referral capabilities, partnering with distribution, product, marketing, legal, and compliance teams to establish scalable operating models, governance frameworks, and quality assurance processes.<\/li>\n<li>Partner closely with Product Development, Marketing, Finance and Actuarial teams to enhance commercial performance, optimize capital deployment, strengthen product economics, and refine incentive structures across the region.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate regulatory engagement and governance activities across multiple jurisdictions, supporting management reporting, stakeholder communications, and regulatory submissions as required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Successful applicants will have the following skills and experience:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 10+ years relevant experience in Insurance, Bancassurance, Private Banks or International Brokers specializing in HNW \/ UHNW, Wealth Management segment<\/li>\n<li>Specialization in strategy, transformation, products, propositions and \/ or partnership business development and engagement<\/li>\n<li>Expertise in life insurance, HNW wealth protection, legacy planning and cross\u2011border structures<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of HNW \/ wealth insurance product mechanics, pricing advantage, operating models, customer needs<\/li>\n<li>Markets exposure to China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Bermuda, Middle East would be advantageous<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated expertise in project leadership, strategic planning and cross-functional execution<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills with fluency in English<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/counter.adcourier.com\/YW15LmhvLjUwNzI0LjExMzA5QG9saXZlcmphbWVzYXNzb2NpYXRlcy5hcGxpdHJhay5jb20.gif\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>HNW \/ UHNW, Wealth Management Related Strategy &amp;
