Je combineert administratieve werkzaamheden met telefonisch klantcontact en krijgt zo de kans om ervaring op te doen binnen het vakgebied fraude.<\/p>\n<h2>Wat ga je doen?<\/h2>\n<p>Als Externe Fraude analist ondersteun je ervaren fraudeanalisten bij de dagelijkse behandeling van fraude-alerts en klantdossiers. Je wordt goed ingewerkt en tijdens je werkzaamheden gekoppeld aan een ervaren analist.<\/p>\n<p>Je werkzaamheden bestaan onder andere uit:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>\n<p>Verwerken en administratief afhandelen van fraude-alerts;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Zorgvuldig vastleggen en verwerken van informatie in klantdossiers;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Inkomend en uitgaand telefonisch contact met klanten;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Ondersteunen van analisten bij verschillende onderdelen van fraudeonderzoek;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Bijdragen aan een zorgvuldige en tijdige afhandeling van mogelijke fraudegevallen.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Wie zoeken wij?<\/h2>\n<p>Voor deze functie zoeken we vooral iemand die <strong>zorgvuldig, communicatief sterk en flexibel<\/strong> is. Ervaring binnen fraude is niet noodzakelijk; affiniteit met het onderwerp is belangrijker.<\/p>\n<p>Je beschikt over:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>\n<p>hbo-werk- en denkniveau;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Ervaring met inkomend en uitgaand telefonisch klantcontact;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse taal;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Sterke sociale en communicatieve vaardigheden;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Affiniteit met fraudeonderzoek en de financi\u00eble sector;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Een nauwkeurige en administratief sterke manier van werken.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ervaring met administratieve werkzaamheden, financi\u00eble dienstverlening of banksystemen zoals <strong>FIM en Siebel<\/strong> is een pr\u00e9.<\/p>\n<h2>Beschikbaarheid<\/h2>\n<p>De functie is voor ongeveer <strong>16 uur per week<\/strong> en daardoor goed te combineren met bijvoorbeeld een studie of andere parttime werkzaamheden.<\/p>\n<p>Het is belangrijk dat je:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>\n<p>Minimaal \u00e9\u00e9n avond per week beschikbaar bent;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Minimaal \u00e9\u00e9n weekenddag per week kunt werken;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Flexibel inzetbaar bent tijdens vakantieperiodes;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Bereid bent ongeveer \u00e9\u00e9n keer per maand op kantoor te werken.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>De overige werkzaamheden kunnen vanuit huis worden uitgevoerd.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Wat kun je verwachten?<\/h2>\n<p>Je krijgt de kans om binnen een professionele financi\u00eble omgeving praktijkervaring op te doen met fraudeonderzoek. You&#8217;ll lead the design, development, and ongoing improvement of scalable test automation frameworks, environments, and CI\/CD integrations.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">You&#8217;ll work with minimal supervision and partner closely with engineering, product, DevOps, architecture, business subject matter experts and QA teams to improve test coverage, reliability, performance and release confidence.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>Lead and provide technical direction to a team of automation engineers.<\/li>\n<li>Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test strategies, frameworks, and scripts supporting API, UI, integration, functional, regression, smoke, performance, and reliability testing.<\/li>\n<li>Recommend and help standardize automation frameworks, test environments, tools, coding practices, and implementation patterns.<\/li>\n<li>Drive automation strategy, framework design, solution planning, CI\/CD integration, and tooling decisions for major initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Remain hands-on with framework development, test implementation, code reviews, debugging, and technical problem-solving.<\/li>\n<li>Mentor automation engineers, Software Test Engineers, analysts, and interns, and serve as an automation subject matter expert across delivery teams.<\/li>\n<li>Lead the consistent adoption of automation and quality engineering best practices.<\/li>\n<li>Own automation framework health, pipeline integration, and execution reliability, and communicate automation risks, gaps, and progress to leadership.<\/li>\n<li>Define and track meaningful automation metrics, including coverage, execution results, stability, failure trends, and test effectiveness.<\/li>\n<li>Lead root-cause analysis for complex automation failures, framework issues, and recurring defects, and implement improvements to prevent recurrence.<\/li>\n<li>Identify and implement improvements that increase automation efficiency, maintainability, scalability, and execution speed.<\/li>\n<li>Partner with development, QA, DevOps, architecture, product teams, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors to support high-quality delivery.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate technical recommendations, automation health, delivery risks, and improvement opportunities to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to an inclusive culture where every team member feels valued and respected and different perspectives are welcomed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Required Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>8+ years of relevant test automation or quality engineering experience<\/li>\n<li>Significant hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining automation solutions across multiple applications, products, or services<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience leading automation engineers and providing technical mentoring and guidance<\/li>\n<li>Strong experience designing and governing scalable automation frameworks, including coding standards, test strategy, framework architecture, and long-term maintainability<\/li>\n<li>Advanced experience with modern automation frameworks such as Playwright<\/li>\n<li>Strong API testing and automation experience using tools and technologies such as Postman, REST services, JSON, and related API validation frameworks<\/li>\n<li>Experience integrating automated tests into CI\/CD pipelines, including pipeline design, execution controls, metrics, and governance<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, smoke, performance, and reliability testing<\/li>\n<li>Strong debugging, system analysis, and root-cause analysis skills, including experience diagnosing issues across distributed systems<\/li>\n<li>Solid understanding of DevOps practices, test environment management, pipeline optimization, and test execution efficiency<\/li>\n<li>Experience testing cloud-based applications and services in AWS, Azure, or GCP<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to work across engineering, product, DevOps, architecture, QA, and business teams<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-influencing skills<\/li>\n<li>Proactive leadership mindset with ownership of automation strategy, framework quality, and continuous improvement<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>If you&#8217;re a hands-on automation leader who enjoys building strong frameworks and developing the people around you, we&#8217;d like to hear from you. You&#8217;ll help define the architecture and technical direction of the platform, while remaining close to the code and providing technical leadership across the wider engineering team.<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ll work closely with Product, Engineering, and Architecture teams to translate business requirements into scalable solutions, while helping establish the engineering standards and practices that will support the platform long term.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key responsibilities include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Providing hands-on technical leadership across the design, development, and delivery of a cloud-native platform.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Defining architecture and technical direction across applications, APIs, integrations, data, security, reliability, and scalability.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Leading technical design discussions and making pragmatic decisions around complex engineering trade-offs.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Remaining hands-on with development while guiding other engineers and influencing technical decisions across teams.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Establishing engineering best practices across architecture, code quality, automated testing, CI\/CD, observability, and production reliability.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Identifying and mitigating technical and architectural risks before they impact delivery.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Mentoring senior engineers and helping raise technical capability across the wider organization.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What we&#8217;re looking for:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>We&#8217;re looking for a highly experienced, hands-on Staff Engineer who enjoys having genuine influence over how a platform is designed and built. You should be comfortable setting technical direction while still getting into the detail and solving complex engineering problems yourself.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>You&#8217;ll ideally have strong experience designing and building cloud-native platforms and distributed systems, with a background across modern application architecture, APIs, integrations, cloud technologies, security, and reliability.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Just as importantly, you&#8217;ll need to be comfortable influencing technical direction across multiple teams and working through complex trade-offs. You&#8217;ll work closely with underwriting, program management, analytics and senior leadership, providing the actuarial insight that helps determine where the business should grow, maintain, reprice or pull back.<\/p>\n<h3>The Role<\/h3>\n<p>As a Director you&#8217;ll act as the lead actuary and key business partner for approximately 5-6 specialty Programs.<\/p>\n<p> <strong>Your responsibilities will include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Leading portfolio profitability and pricing analysis across your assigned Programs.<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring rate, pricing adequacy, underwriting mix and segmentation to understand portfolio performance.<\/li>\n<li>Advising the business on opportunities to grow, maintain, reprice or exit areas of the portfolio.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluating new specialty Programs and external partnerships from an actuarial and commercial perspective.<\/li>\n<li>Developing and improving pricing methodologies, segmentation and actuarial approaches.<\/li>\n<li>Building pricing and portfolio monitoring tools using technologies such as Python, SQL and VBA.<\/li>\n<li>Conducting actuarial studies to improve pricing parameters and methodologies.<\/li>\n<li>Partnering closely with Underwriting, Program Managers and predictive modelling\/analytics teams.<\/li>\n<li>Presenting complex actuarial analysis to senior stakeholders and turning it into clear, actionable commercial recommendations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>About You<\/h3>\n<p>We&#8217;re looking for an experienced P&amp;C actuary who combines strong technical capability with commercial judgement and excellent communication skills.<\/p>\n<p> You&#8217;ll ideally bring:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>6+ years of relevant P&amp;C actuarial experience.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>ACAS or FCAS<\/strong> qualification.<\/li>\n<li>Strong experience in actuarial pricing, portfolio analysis and profitability.<\/li>\n<li>Exposure to <strong>commercial or specialty P&amp;C insurance<\/strong>, ideally including Programs.<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical and technical skills, particularly <strong>Python, SQL and\/or VBA<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with pricing adequacy, segmentation, rate monitoring and pricing methodology.<\/li>\n<li>The ability to work closely with Underwriting and senior business stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication skills and the confidence to provide an actuarial point of view and influence decisions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We&#8217;re particularly interested in actuaries who want to move beyond purely technical pricing work and have a genuine interest in the commercial side of insurance.<\/p>\n<h3>Why Consider This Opportunity?<\/h3>\n<p>You&#8217;ll be joining a well-established global specialty insurer with a strong actuarial culture and exposure to some genuinely interesting and complex insurance risks.<\/p>\n<p> The actuarial function has a meaningful voice within the business, with senior actuarial professionals involved in commercial and underwriting decisions. ideally 3-4 days per week in Webster; flexibility for Boston and potentially remote for an exceptional candidate<br \/><strong>Compensation:<\/strong> $200,000-$250,000 base + 15% target bonus<\/p>\n<p> A well-established, leading P&amp;C insurer is seeking a Director, Commercial Lines Actuarial to lead pricing and actuarial strategy across a broad Commercial Lines portfolio.<\/p>\n<p> This is a high-visibility leadership opportunity for an experienced actuarial professional who enjoys combining technical pricing expertise with commercial decision-making and people leadership.<\/p>\n<p> You will lead actuarial pricing and profitability initiatives across Commercial Lines, partnering closely with Underwriting, Product, Finance, Claims, Data, IT and senior leadership.<\/p>\n<p> <strong>Key responsibilities include:<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead pricing strategy across Commercial Auto, BOP, CPP and other Commercial Lines portfolios.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor rate adequacy, profitability, underwriting mix and segmentation.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct rate indications, rate impact analysis and pricing studies.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and enhance rating plans and actuarial models.<\/li>\n<li>Partner with Underwriting to support profitable growth and portfolio strategy.<\/li>\n<li>Translate actuarial analysis into clear commercial recommendations for senior leadership.<\/li>\n<li>Work with IT and Data teams to implement pricing logic and analytical solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Support rate filings, planning, budgeting and other business initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Lead and develop a team of two actuarial analysts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>What They&#8217;re Looking For<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>10+ years of P&amp;C actuarial experience.<\/li>\n<li>ACAS required; Programs Pricing to join its growing US Insurance Actuarial team.<\/p>\n<p> This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced actuary to take ownership of pricing strategy across a portfolio of specialty Programs, working closely with Underwriting, Program Managers, Analytics and senior leadership.<\/p>\n<h3>The Role<\/h3>\n<p>As the lead actuary for approximately 5-6 specialty Programs, you will provide actuarial and commercial insight across the portfolio and play a key role in strategic business decisions.<\/p>\n<p> Key responsibilities include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Own pricing and profitability analysis across a portfolio of specialty Programs.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor rate adequacy, rate changes, underwriting mix and segmentation.<\/li>\n<li>Advise the business on where to grow, maintain, reprice or pull back based on portfolio performance.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate new specialty Programs and external partnerships from an actuarial and commercial perspective.<\/li>\n<li>Develop pricing studies, segmentation analyses and monitoring tools.<\/li>\n<li>Improve pricing methodologies and analytical processes using tools such as Python, SQL and VBA.<\/li>\n<li>Partner closely with Underwriting, Program Managers and Predictive Modeling teams.<\/li>\n<li>Present actuarial findings and recommendations to senior leadership.<\/li>\n<li>Translate complex actuarial analysis into clear, actionable commercial recommendations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>What They&#8217;re Looking For<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>6+ years of P&amp;C actuarial experience.<\/li>\n<li>ACAS or FCAS.<\/li>\n<li>Strong pricing and ratemaking experience.<\/li>\n<li>Experience within Commercial or Specialty P&amp;C preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical and technical capabilities, ideally including Python, SQL and\/or VBA.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with profitability analysis, segmentation and portfolio monitoring.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.<\/li>\n<li>Commercial mindset with the ability to influence underwriting and business decisions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Why Consider the Opportunity?<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Director-level ownership across 5-6 specialty Programs.<\/li>\n<li>Exposure to approximately $1B of specialty Programs business across the broader team.<\/li>\n<li>Genuine actuarial influence on underwriting and commercial strategy.<\/li>\n<li>Work directly with high-performing Underwriting, Analytics and Program teams.<\/li>\n<li>Opportunity to evaluate new products, Programs and external partnerships.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborative, high-performance actuarial culture with strong senior actuarial leadership.<\/li>\n<li>Broad US actuarial organization with significant opportunities for professional development and progression.<\/li>\n<li>Competitive compensation of $130K-$180K base + bonus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> This opportunity would suit an experienced ACAS\/FCAS pricing actuary who wants to move beyond traditional rate indications and play a meaningful role in portfolio strategy, underwriting decisions and the growth of a specialty insurance business.<\/p>\n<p> Apply confidentially or reach out for further details. <\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/counter.adcourier.com\/QXpyYS5NZXJhbC4zNDQyOC4xMTMwOUBvbGl2ZXJqYW1lc2Fzc29jaWF0ZXMuYXBsaXRyYWsuY29t.gif\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Director, Actuary &#8211; Homeowners<\/h1>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong> Fully Remote<br \/><strong>Compensation:<\/strong> $160,000-200,000 base <\/p>\n<p> A growing specialty property insurance business is seeking a Senior State Manager to own the performance and profitable growth of its Homeowners programs, initially focused on Colorado and Texas.<\/p>\n<p> This is a high-ownership opportunity for a senior Homeowners professional who enjoys combining P&amp;L ownership, catastrophe portfolio management, product strategy and hands-on execution.<\/p>\n<h3> <\/h3>\n<h3>The Role<\/h3>\n<p>You will act as the internal state owner, working across Product, Actuarial, Underwriting, Distribution, Regulatory, Operations, Technology, Carrier Partners and Reinsurance to build and scale profitable state programs.<\/p>\n<p> Key responsibilities include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Own state-level P&amp;L and performance, including premium growth, rate adequacy, loss ratio, retention and conversion.<\/li>\n<li>Build and launch state programs from the ground up, including market analysis, distribution strategy and launch plans.<\/li>\n<li>Manage catastrophe and portfolio risk across wildfire, hurricane and severe convective storm exposure.<\/li>\n<li>Analyze PML, AAL, aggregation, peril mix and reinsurance constraints to inform growth and risk decisions.<\/li>\n<li>Partner with Actuarial and Underwriting on rates, rules, eligibility and underwriting strategy.<\/li>\n<li>Lead regulatory execution, including rate, rule and form filings and DOI responses.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor portfolio performance, identify emerging trends and drive corrective actions.<\/li>\n<li>Present performance, risks and recommendations to senior leadership.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3> <\/h3>\n<h3>What They&#8217;re Looking For<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>8-10+ years of P&amp;C insurance experience, with significant Homeowners\/residential property expertise.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience managing catastrophe-exposed Homeowners portfolios.<\/li>\n<li>Experience launching, growing or materially improving state or property programs.<\/li>\n<li>Direct experience with P&amp;L or portfolio ownership.<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of rate adequacy, loss ratios, retention, conversion, catastrophe exposure and reinsurance.<\/li>\n<li>Strong technical\/analytical skills, ideally including SQL and Python.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Homeowners forms, coverage, endorsements, underwriting guidelines and rating mechanics.<\/li>\n<li>Strong regulatory experience, including DOI\/SERFF filings.<\/li>\n<li>Entrepreneurial, hands-on mindset with the ability to make decisions in a fast-moving environment.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3> <\/h3>\n<h3>Why Consider the Opportunity?<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Fully remote senior leadership opportunity.<\/li>\n<li>Significant ownership over Colorado and Texas Homeowners programs.<\/li>\n<li>Opportunity to build and launch programs rather than simply manage an established book.<\/li>\n<li>Direct influence over P&amp;L, pricing, underwriting, product and portfolio strategy.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with senior leadership and teams across Actuarial, Underwriting, Product, Distribution, Technology and Reinsurance.<\/li>\n<li>Opportunity to shape future state expansion and program growth.<\/li>\n<li>Highly entrepreneurial environment with significant autonomy and visibility.<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on role suited to someone who wants to combine strategic decision-making with detailed execution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> This role would suit a senior Homeowners\/property insurance leader who has successfully managed catastrophe-exposed portfolios and wants genuine ownership over state strategy, P&amp;L and program growth.<\/p>\n<p> Apply confidentially or reach out for further details.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/counter.adcourier.com\/QXpyYS5NZXJhbC4yOTQ2Ni4xMTMwOUBvbGl2ZXJqYW1lc2Fzc29jaWF0ZXMuYXBsaXRyYWsuY29t.gif\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Senior State Manager &#8211; You&#8217;ll work closely with underwriting, program management, analytics and senior leadership, providing the actuarial insight that helps determine where the business should grow, maintain, reprice or pull back.<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<h3>The Role<\/h3>\n<p>As a Director you&#8217;ll act as the lead actuary and key business partner for approximately 5-6 specialty Programs.<\/p>\n<p> <strong>Your responsibilities will include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Leading portfolio profitability and pricing analysis across your assigned Programs.<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring rate, pricing adequacy, underwriting mix and segmentation to understand portfolio performance.<\/li>\n<li>Advising the business on opportunities to grow, maintain, reprice or exit areas of the portfolio.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluating new specialty Programs and external partnerships from an actuarial and commercial perspective.<\/li>\n<li>Developing and improving pricing methodologies, segmentation and actuarial approaches.<\/li>\n<li>Building pricing and portfolio monitoring tools using technologies such as Python, SQL and VBA.<\/li>\n<li>Conducting actuarial studies to improve pricing parameters and methodologies.<\/li>\n<li>Partnering closely with Underwriting, Program Managers and predictive modelling\/analytics teams.<\/li>\n<li>Presenting complex actuarial analysis to senior stakeholders and turning it into clear, actionable commercial recommendations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>About You<\/h3>\n<p>We&#8217;re looking for an experienced P&amp;C actuary who combines strong technical capability with commercial judgement and excellent communication skills.<\/p>\n<p> You&#8217;ll ideally bring:<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>6+ years of relevant P&amp;C actuarial experience.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>ACAS or FCAS<\/strong> qualification.<\/li>\n<li>Strong experience in actuarial pricing, portfolio analysis and profitability.<\/li>\n<li>Exposure to <strong>commercial or specialty P&amp;C insurance<\/strong>, ideally including Programs.<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical and technical skills, particularly <strong>Python, SQL and\/or VBA<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with pricing adequacy, segmentation, rate monitoring and pricing methodology.<\/li>\n<li>The ability to work closely with Underwriting and senior business stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication skills and the confidence to provide an actuarial point of view and influence decisions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We&#8217;re particularly interested in actuaries who want to move beyond purely technical pricing work and have a genuine interest in the commercial side of insurance.<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<h3>Why Consider This Opportunity?<\/h3>\n<p>You&#8217;ll be joining a well-established global specialty insurer with a strong actuarial culture and exposure to some genuinely interesting and complex insurance risks.<\/p>\n<p> The actuarial function has a meaningful voice within the business, with senior actuarial professionals involved in commercial and underwriting decisions.
