      5+ years of experience in catastrophe modeling, exposure management, or risk analytics.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Hands-on experience with RMS, AIR, or comparable catastrophe modeling platforms.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Strong analytical and technical capabilities, including SQL, Excel, Python, or R.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Experience working with insurance or reinsurance portfolios and catastrophe risk exposures.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

It’s a team of eight, and you’d report to the Head of Data, MI & Automation.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>The role<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>Own business-critical MI, including legacy Excel\/VBA reporting, and keep it running reliably in the short term.<\/li>\n<li>Then modernise it: move manual, spreadsheet-based reporting into governed Power BI, Power Query and Power Automate solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Support a data platform programme bringing in new tooling (Databricks, Ataccama, Timbr), focused on data validation and mapping.<\/li>\n<li>Build Power BI reports and data models (star schema, DAX), with proper documentation, lineage and reconciliations.<\/li>\n<li>Work with a wide range of stakeholders, including some demanding ones. Challenge requirements where needed and explain technical points clearly.<\/li>\n<li>Act as a senior voice in the team: coach and upskill colleagues. There is no line management for now, but there is scope for it later.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>What you’ll need<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>A track record of owning MI\/BI reporting end to end.<\/li>\n<li>Advanced Excel. ownership of the reinsurance operations team, drive process and systems improvements, and help develop the function as the business continues to grow.<\/p>\n<p> The role reports directly to the COO and offers the opportunity to make a genuine impact across the team, systems and wider reinsurance operation.<\/p>\n<p> <strong>Key responsibilities:<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead, develop and mentor a team of reinsurance supervisors and analysts, with responsibility for performance management, coaching and team development.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee reinsurance operations, including cession processing, reconciliations, settlements, reporting and regulatory requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Drive continuous improvement across processes, controls and systems, partnering with IT to implement enhancements and resolve issues.<\/li>\n<li>Take ownership of reporting accuracy, audit requirements, internal controls and reinsurance administration.<\/li>\n<li>Lead systems testing, enhancements and integration projects as the business continues to scale.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and support future growth.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <strong>What they’re looking for:<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A strong people manager with experience leading, developing and growing teams.<\/li>\n<li>An accounting or finance background, with solid reinsurance knowledge and experience across reinsurance operations or administration.<\/li>\n<li>The ability to improve processes, influence systems development and lead cachent derri\u00e8re les r\u00e9sultats.<\/p>\n<p>L’objectif : aller au-del\u00e0 de la production des analyses pour en comprendre le sens, en interpr\u00e9ter les impacts et contribuer activement \u00e0 la prise de d\u00e9cision.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vos principales missions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Pilotage et analyses ALM :<\/strong> r\u00e9aliser et analyser les \u00e9tudes ALM, suivre les principaux indicateurs et contribuer \u00e0 l’\u00e9valuation des \u00e9quilibres entre les actifs et les passifs.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Analyse et interpr\u00e9tation des indicateurs :<\/strong> comprendre les r\u00e9sultats produits, identifier les facteurs explicatifs des \u00e9volutions observ\u00e9es et en mesurer les implications financi\u00e8res.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Compr\u00e9hension et ma\u00eetrise des risques :<\/strong> analyser les expositions aux risques financiers, notamment les risques de taux et les risques de march\u00e9, et \u00e9valuer leurs impacts sur les \u00e9quilibres financiers de l’entreprise.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Prise de recul et esprit critique :<\/strong> questionner les r\u00e9sultats, challenger les hypoth\u00e8ses et les m\u00e9thodes Systems, or a related field.<\/li>\n<li>5+ years’ experience in investment accounting, investment operations, financial systems, securities processing, reconciliations, or related areas.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with PAM or a comparable investment accounting platform is desirable.<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of investment accounting processes, investment data, portfolio reporting, and financial systems.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with system interfaces, data flows, and technology-enabled business processes.<\/li>\n<li>Experience managing external technology or service providers and monitoring service performance.<\/li>\n<li>Experience contributing to or leading systems projects, including requirements gathering, testing, implementation, training, and The role combines responsibility for financial close, GAAP and statutory reporting with opportunities to improve processes and support financial systems transformation. <\/p>\n<h2>Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee full-cycle accounting, including general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable. <\/li>\n<li>Lead month-end, quarter-end and year-end close, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. <\/li>\n<li>Prepare and review GAAP financial statements, statutory reporting and regulatory filings. <\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with group finance and SEC reporting teams. <\/li>\n<li>Manage and develop the accounting team. <\/li>\n<li>Strengthen accounting controls, standardize processes and support financial systems upgrades. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What We’re Looking For<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong insurance accounting experience, ideally within life, health or supplemental health. <\/li>\n<li>Proven statutory reporting expertise; experience with NAIC Blue, Yellow or Orange Books is welcome. <\/li>\n<li>Strong GAAP knowledge and full-cycle accounting experience. <\/li>\n<li>Previous people management experience and a hands-on leadership approach. <\/li>\n<li>Ability to improve close processes and consistently meet reporting deadlines. <\/li>\n<li>Public company reporting exposure and ERP implementation experience are advantageous. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What’s on Offer<\/h2>\n<p>A visible leadership role with ownership of the accounting function, exposure to senior finance leaders and the opportunity to shape processes within a growing business.<\/p>\n<p> The role is primarily office-based. organization to recruit an experienced accounting leader.<\/p>\n<p>You will own the day-to-day accounting function, manage a team of approximately four to five professionals and partner with senior finance leadership. The role combines responsibility for financial close, GAAP and statutory reporting with opportunities to improve processes and support financial systems transformation.<\/p>\n<h2>Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Oversee full-cycle accounting, including general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Lead month-end, quarter-end and year-end close, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Prepare and review GAAP financial statements, statutory reporting and regulatory filings.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Coordinate with group finance and SEC reporting teams.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Manage and develop the accounting team.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Strengthen accounting controls, standardize processes and support financial systems upgrades.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What We’re Looking For<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Strong insurance accounting experience, ideally within life, health or supplemental health.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Proven statutory reporting expertise; experience with NAIC Blue, Yellow or Orange Books is welcome.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Strong GAAP knowledge and full-cycle accounting experience.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Previous people management experience and a hands-on leadership approach.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Ability to improve close processes and consistently meet reporting deadlines.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Public company reporting exposure and ERP implementation experience are advantageous.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What’s on Offer<\/h2>\n<p>A visible leadership role with ownership of the accounting function, exposure to senior finance leaders and the opportunity to shape processes within a growing business.<\/p>\n<p>The role is primarily office-based.
