\u00b7 Assist the Senior Vice President by providing strategic recommendations and insights into the division’s recruitment programs.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Negotiate engagement agreements with multinational companies, defining the client’s needs and expected outcomes.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Follow market developments in technology, data tools, software, and applications.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Provide reports internally to leadership, and also to external clients who are insurance carriers, re insurers, private equity firms and asset managers, highlighting key project milestones, hiring timelines, and pipeline health.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Define client personnel requirements, including mapping out the organisational structure, culture and annual growth plans and make hiring recommendations when appropriate.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Develop key market knowledge within the Financial Services sector to accurately advise clients on hiring trends.<\/p>\n

Experience to include four years in each of the following: 1) Leading full-cycle recruitment for international director and senior management roles in the financial services sector, assessing strategy based on local market trends, availability of talent, and regulatory requirements; 2) Talent mapping and market research for large, global clients using advanced sourcing platforms and tools, including Linked In Recruiter and Salesforce; 3) Utilising Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms to track candidate sourcing, conversion, and pipeline metrics, including Salesforce or Bond Adapt (currently known as Adapt by Bullhorn); 4) Sourcing and evaluating candidates in investment modelling, reporting, capital, actuarial modelling, hedging, pricing, valuation, quantitative and analytical fields for permanent positions; and 5) Partnering with executive stakeholders to support organisational workforce planning and outline role requirements for regulated and technical professional positions.<\/p>\n

The department supports a broad range of pension arrangements, including Defined Benefit (DB), Defined Contribution (DC) and CARE schemes.<\/p>\n<p>A vacancy has arisen for a Client Manager to join the Data Journey team, with opportunities to be based in Birmingham, Edinburgh or Glasgow.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As Client Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of pension data projects across a portfolio of Data Journey clients. The position focuses on ensuring projects are completed in line with regulatory obligations, agreed objectives and client requirements.<\/p>\n<p>Working closely with clients, colleagues and specialist teams, you will act as a primary contact throughout the project life cycle. The role combines client-facing delivery, project oversight, stakeholder management and team coordination to ensure work is completed accurately, efficiently and to a high standard. This individual will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting internal controls, and ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and applicable regulatory reporting requirements across multiple legal entities.<\/p>\n<p>The role will focus on financial close activities, journal entries, account reconciliations, accrual schedules, and the preparation of GAAP and statutory financial statements. Responsibility<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>System Ownership<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Own the day-to-day business relationship with the solutions provider (PAM systems) and act as a subject matter expert for the platform.<\/li>\n<li>Establish priorities for system improvements, operational activities, and business requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure PAM supports accurate and timely investment accounting and reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain appropriate standards for data quality, system integrity, operational resilience, and process control.<\/li>\n<li>Work with business and technology teams to identify opportunities for system and process improvements.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee interfaces and data flows between PAM and connected investment, finance, reporting, and operational systems.<\/li>\n<li>Investigate and resolve complex system or process issues, escalating where appropriate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Operational & Team Leadership<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide levels, system performance, and issue resolution.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in regular service reviews and discussions concerning product development, enhancements, and future Change<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Support and lead investment systems initiatives, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Major enhancements to the investment accounting environment.<\/li>\n<li>Platform upgrades and related technology changes.<\/li>\n<li>Introduction of new functionality and system capabilities.<\/li>\n<li>Business requirements definition, impact assessment, testing, implementation, and post-implementation support.<\/li>\n<li>User communications, training, and adoption activities.<\/li>\n<li>Changes affecting interfaces, data flows, reporting, and related operational processes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Entity & Acquisition Integration<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Support the investment accounting aspects of bringing new entities or portfolios into the operating environment, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Establishing and validating opening investment data within PAM.<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing data quality and resolving implementation issues.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting the transition of processes and responsibilities to new users or teams.<\/li>\n<li>Providing guidance and training on relevant PAM processes and controls.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinating activities across Finance, Investments, Technology, operational teams, and external service providers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Reporting, Controls & Governance<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support recurring investment accounting activities and reporting cycles, including data processing, reconciliations, classification activities, and reporting requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate user-access requests, amendments, reviews, and removals.<\/li>\n<li>Perform or support periodic access and control reviews within PAM.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with segregation-of-duties assessments and other control activities.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain appropriate evidence for control testing and audit purposes.<\/li>\n<li>Support internal and external audit requests relating to PAM, investment accounting processes, data, and controls.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain procedures, process documentation, control descriptions, and user guidance.<\/li>\n<li>Identify opportunities to strengthen controls, simplify processes, and reduce operational risk.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience & Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.<\/li>\n<li>Typically five or more years’ experience in investment accounting, investment operations, financial systems, securities processing, reconciliations, or related areas.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with PAM or a comparable investment accounting platform is desirable.<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of investment accounting processes, investment data, portfolio reporting, and financial systems.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with system interfaces, data flows, and technology-enabled business processes.<\/li>\n<li>Experience managing external technology or service providers and monitoring service performance.<\/li>\n<li>Experience contributing to or leading systems projects, including requirements gathering, testing, implementation, training, and transition to business-as-usual.<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical, organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable working across Finance, Investments, Technology, Risk, and operational teams.<\/li>\n<li>Experience within insurance, asset management, investment management, or broader financial services would be advantageous.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of financial
