This role sits at the center of key accounting decisions and will have direct visibility to executive leadership and external stakeholders.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"slds-media__body\">\n<p class=\"slds-media__body\">\n<hr data-start=\"822\" data-end=\"825\" \/>\n<p data-start=\"827\" data-end=\"851\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><strong data-start=\"827\" data-end=\"851\">Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"853\" data-end=\"1652\">\n<li data-section-id=\"1osmezk\" data-start=\"853\" data-end=\"980\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of accounting policies across the organization<\/span><\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"s8onzz\" data-start=\"981\" data-end=\"1056\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Manage the annual review and update process for all accounting policies<\/span><\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1pcjfy9\" data-start=\"1057\" data-end=\"1194\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Monitor and interpret updates from regulatory and standard-setting bodies and assess impact to the business<\/span><\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1xtlztc\" data-start=\"1195\" data-end=\"1336\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Drive technical accounting research initiatives across both GAAP and Statutory frameworks, partnering with cross-functional finance teams<\/span><\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1npc7qc\" data-start=\"1337\" data-end=\"1442\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Oversee adherence to internal records and information management policies within the finance function<\/span><\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1rklet9\" data-start=\"1443\" data-end=\"1557\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Perform quality control reviews of quarterly and annual regulatory filings, including SEC and NAIC submissions<\/span><\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1i4k87z\" data-start=\"1558\" data-end=\"1652\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"1654\" data-end=\"1657\" \/>\n<p data-start=\"1659\" data-end=\"1677\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><strong data-start=\"1659\" data-end=\"1677\">Qualifications<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2068\" data-end=\"2289\">\n<li data-section-id=\"1ynck35\" data-start=\"1679\" data-end=\"1792\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and\/or Statutory Accounting principles; SEC reporting experience is a plus<\/span><\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"10s7w9w\" data-start=\"1793\" data-end=\"1859\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills<\/span><\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1wtutqm\" data-start=\"1860\" data-end=\"1935\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Proven ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate across teams<\/span><\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"13f8x06\" data-start=\"1936\" data-end=\"1997\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">High attention to detail and strong organizational skills<\/span><\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1g0nt6q\" data-start=\"1998\" data-end=\"2033\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Proficiency in Microsoft Office<\/span><\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"ubt385\" data-start=\"2068\" data-end=\"2129\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Accounting<\/span><\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"p904d6\" data-start=\"2217\" data-end=\"2289\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Prior experience within financial services or insurance is preferred<\/span><\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"p904d6\" data-start=\"2217\" data-end=\"2289\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">CPA a must (or currently being pursued)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1 class=\"slds-text-heading_medium\"> <\/h1>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><em data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">To be considered for this opportunity, please apply using the prompts provided.
