Drive multi-quarter technical roadmaps: what we build, what we retire, and what we stop doing. Author the RFCs that matter.<\/li>\n<li>Cross-team decisions. Partner with two or three engineering teams, Product, and Data Science to make the right technical trade-offs &#8211; especially the ones no single team can make alone.<\/li>\n<li>Quality of the whole. Reliability, performance, cost and security for your domain. When an incident touches your area you&#8217;re part of the postmortem.<\/li>\n<li>Engineering standards. Set the bar for design reviews, API contracts, testing and operability &#8211; and teach it, so it sticks.<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on work. You can point to platforms or services you designed whose decisions still hold up under load, change and time.<\/li>\n<li>Strong judgement on trade-offs. Cost vs. latency, build vs. buy, consistency vs. availability, velocity vs. debt &#8211; and you can explain your reasoning in a room of non-engineers.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrable technical influence across teams, not just within one. RFCs, guilds, shared libraries, architecture forums &#8211; something that shows your reach.<\/li>\n<li>A mentoring habit. Named engineers whose careers moved because of your input. You already enjoy this work.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written communication. Your docs, RFCs and postmortems teach people things. Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of 5 years&#8217; experience in IT support, including at least 2 years in a senior or leadership capacity.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to independently manage and take ownership of service desk operations and issue resolution.<\/li>\n<li>Strong technical understanding of end-user support, business applications, networking basics, and server environments.<\/li>\n<li>Experience writing and executing SQL queries for troubleshooting, reporting, and data analysis within ERP or business systems.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with IT service management processes such as Incident, Problem, Request, and Change Management.<\/li>\n<li>Experience supporting operational or production-critical environments and handling high-priority incidents.<\/li>\n<li>Strong problem-solving abilities, including root cause analysis for recurring technical issues.<\/li>\n<li>Proven leadership and coaching skills with experience developing team members.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.<\/li>\n<li>Strong organisational and prioritisation skills suited to fast-paced environments.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with external vendors and managing technical escalations.<\/li>\n<li>Valid driving licence and access to personal transport.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications &amp; The Fund Accounting Manager will be an integral part of the business by leading client relationships with US-based funds and providing fund accounting support with the assistance of a high-performing offshore team. <\/p>\n<p> The Fund Accounting Manager needs to have an open-ended and closed-ended fund accounting background with at least 6+ years experience. CPA is desirable but not a prerequisite. <\/p>\n<p> This role is 100% remote with preference being based on PST\/MST time-zones, CST will also be considered.<\/p>\n<p> <strong>RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee fund administration operations across both open-ended and closed-ended private fund structures.<\/li>\n<li>Support alternative investment clients across hedge funds, private credit funds, private equity funds, venture capital funds, real estate funds, and digital asset funds.<\/li>\n<li>Review and oversee NAV packages, capital account statements, investor allocations, fee calculations, and financial reporting deliverables.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with fund launches, onboarding, restructurings, liquidations, and operational transitions.<\/li>\n<li>Manage relationships with auditors, tax providers, legal counsel, banking partners, and other external service providers.<\/li>\n<li>Serve as a senior operational contact for a portfolio of U.S.-based fund clients.<\/li>\n<li>Develop strong relationships with fund managers, CFOs, COOs, controllers, and investor relations teams.<\/li>\n<li>Lead recurring client calls, service reviews, and operational meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members in the U.S. office.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in building a scalable and high-performing U.S. operations function.<\/li>\n<li>Help establish the U.S. client service function as a scalable, high-performing team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>REQUIREMENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CFA, or equivalent qualification preferred.<\/li>\n<li>6+ years of experience in fund administration, fund accounting, or alternative investment operations.<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of U.S. fund structures, industry regulations, and investor servicing requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Required experience supporting both:\n<ul>\n<li>Open-ended fund structures (hedge funds, hybrid structures, evergreen\/private credit vehicles), and<\/li>\n<li>Closed-ended fund structures (private equity, private credit, venture capital, real estate funds)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/counter.adcourier.com\/bWljaGFlbC5jZWxsaWVyLjY3MTI0LjExMzA5QG9saXZlcmphbWVzYXNzb2NpYXRlcy5hcGxpdHJhay5jb20.gif\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A leading, technology driven, Fund Administrator is looking for a Fund Accounting Manager with both open-ended and closed-ended fund accounting experience. The Tax Manager (ideally CPA qualified) will oversee all Tax compliance as it relates to reporting, funds and partnerships. This is a hybrid role and ideally looking for at least 5 years experience.<\/p>\n<div class=\"slds-p-around_large\">The Tax Manager will join an established Private Equity firm in Los Angeles whilst working closely with the firm&#8217;s tax service providers in filing relevant local, state and international tax reporting. The Fund Accounting Manager will be an integral part of the business by leading client relationships with US-based funds and providing fund accounting support with the assistance of a high-performing offshore team. <\/p>\n<p>The Fund Accounting Manager needs to have an open-ended and closed-ended fund accounting background with at least 6+ years experience. CPA is desirable but not a prerequisite. <\/p>\n<p>This role is 100% remote with preference being based on PST\/MST time-zones, CST will also be considered.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee fund administration operations across both open-ended and closed-ended private fund structures.<\/li>\n<li>Support alternative investment clients across hedge funds, private credit funds, private equity funds, venture capital funds, real estate funds, and digital asset funds.<\/li>\n<li>Review and oversee NAV packages, capital account statements, investor allocations, fee calculations, and financial reporting deliverables.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with fund launches, onboarding, restructurings, liquidations, and operational transitions.<\/li>\n<li>Manage relationships with auditors, tax providers, legal counsel, banking partners, and other external service providers.<\/li>\n<li>Serve as a senior operational contact for a portfolio of U.S.-based fund clients.<\/li>\n<li>Develop strong relationships with fund managers, CFOs, COOs, controllers, and investor relations teams.<\/li>\n<li>Lead recurring client calls, service reviews, and operational meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members in the U.S. office.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in building a scalable and high-performing U.S. operations function.<\/li>\n<li>Help establish the U.S. client service function as a scalable, high-performing team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>REQUIREMENTS<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CFA, or equivalent qualification preferred.<\/li>\n<li>6+ years of experience in fund administration, fund accounting, or alternative investment operations.<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of U.S. fund structures, industry regulations, and investor servicing requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Required experience supporting both:\n<ul>\n<li>Open-ended fund structures (hedge funds, hybrid structures, evergreen\/private credit vehicles), and<\/li>\n<li>Closed-ended fund structures (private equity, private credit, venture capital, real estate funds, SPVs, and co-investment vehicles).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/counter.adcourier.com\/bWljaGFlbC5jZWxsaWVyLjI2Nzk2LjExMzA5QG9saXZlcmphbWVzYXNzb2NpYXRlcy5hcGxpdHJhay5jb20.gif\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A leading, technology driven, Fund Administrator is looking for a Fund Accounting Manager with both open-ended and closed-ended fund accounting experience.
