The business is building out its finance function and offers the opportunity to join at a key stage of growth.<\/p>\n<h3>The Role<\/h3>\n<p>Reporting to senior finance leadership, this position will support statutory reporting, investment accounting, and regulatory compliance for a U.S. insurance entity.<\/p>\n<h3>Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Prepare quarterly and annual NAIC statutory financial statements.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Prepare and review investment schedules (Schedule D, BA, and B).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Support statutory close, regulatory filings, and compliance requirements.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Account for fixed income, mortgage loan, and alternative investments.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Assist with audits, examinations, and regulatory inquiries.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Support process improvements across reporting and controls.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Requirements<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>5+ years of insurance accounting or statutory reporting experience.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>Life \/ annuity industry expeirence required. <\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Strong knowledge of NAIC SAP and Blue Book reporting.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Experience with investment schedules and insurance investment accounting.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>CPA highly desireable but not necessary .<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Strong Excel skills; NetSuite, GAIN, or Clearwater experience is a plus.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Comfortable in a high-growth environment.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Compensation<\/h3>\n<p>Base salary ranged from 120-160k + bonus, benefits, and fully remote flexibility.<\/p>\n<p>Please note that given the amount of applications only candidates with the above requirements will be contacted. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/counter.adcourier.com\/Q2hyaXMuRG9kZHMuNTEwODkuMTEzMDlAb2xpdmVyamFtZXNhc3NvY2lhdGVzLmFwbGl0cmFrLmNvbQ.gif\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Manager \/ Assistant Controller &#8211; Statutory Reporting Fully remote position US working rights required. firewalls, switches, routers, VPNs &#8211; and have naturally evolved toward a security-first way of working. Your networking roots matter here, but it&#8217;s your security mindset that will set you apart. This is a high-autonomy role with real influence, for someone who doesn&#8217;t need hand-holding to get things done.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key responsibilities: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Own and manage the organisation&#8217;s network, connectivity, and security infrastructure<\/li>\n<li>Configure and maintain firewalls, switches, routers, VPNs, and secure access solutions<\/li>\n<li>Support infrastructure across office, remote, and Azure cloud environments<\/li>\n<li>Lead the migration from Active Directory to Microsoft Entra ID &#8211; a key initiative currently underway<\/li>\n<li>Drive SOC 2 readiness and ongoing compliance requirements<\/li>\n<li>Strengthen access controls, production security, and change management processes<\/li>\n<li>Identify vulnerabilities and implement proactive remediation strategies<\/li>\n<li>Maintain infrastructure documentation and partner with internal and external technical teams<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>In order to be successful: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Solid network engineering experience is essential and being hands-on with firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, Cato or similar), routing and switching, and VPNs. You will also need experience supporting Azure environments and a good understanding of identity and access management, particularly around the AD to Entra ID transition.<\/p>\n<p>SOC 2 exposure is a strong advantage. CRM Integration) &#8211; Zurich"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Senior Data Engineer (Databricks &amp; CRM Integration) &#8211; Zurich <\/p>\n<p><\/strong>We&#8217;re supporting a leading Swiss energy organisation on a major data platform transformation and are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong Databricks experience to take a technical ownership role in a high-impact CRM integration programme.<br \/><strong><br \/> The Role:<br \/> <\/strong>The organisation currently operates across a fragmented CRM landscape (including Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Excel and SharePoint), resulting in no unified view of customers, opportunities or sales activity.<\/p>\n<p>This role sits at the centre of a strategic initiative to build a centralised B2B Sales Data Aggregation Hub on Databricks, creating a single source of truth for commercial and executive reporting.<\/p>\n<p>You will be responsible for designing and building the data foundations that enable this transformation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day to Day responsibilities:<\/p>\n<p> <\/strong>You will act as a technical owner for the Databricks data ingestion and transformation layer, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Designing and building Databricks-native ETL pipelines<\/li>\n<li>Implementing CDC and incremental ingestion from Salesforce and Dynamics 365 APIs<\/li>\n<li>Ingesting and structuring data from Excel and SharePoint sources<\/li>\n<li>Building Bronze \u2192 Silver \u2192 Gold data models using Delta Lake<\/li>\n<li>Developing PySpark notebooks and reusable transformation frameworks<\/li>\n<li>Optimising Delta Lake performance (e.g. Z-ordering, compaction, caching)<\/li>\n<li>Creating automated data quality frameworks and monitoring<\/li>\n<li>Delivering KPI datasets and executive reporting layers<\/li>\n<li>Setting up orchestration, alerts, and production monitoring in Databricks Jobs<\/li>\n<li>Supporting UAT, performance testing and production rollout<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Technical environment:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Databricks (core platform)<\/li>\n<li>Delta Lake \/ Lakehouse architecture<\/li>\n<li>PySpark \/ Python \/ SQL<\/li>\n<li>Azure cloud environment<\/li>\n<li>Salesforce &amp; Microsoft Dynamics 365 APIs<\/li>\n<li>Databricks Jobs, Workflows, Unity Catalog<\/li>\n<li>Data quality \/ monitoring frameworks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Ideal Background and Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5+ years in Data Engineering roles<\/li>\n<li>3+ years hands-on Databricks experience in production environments<\/li>\n<li>Strong PySpark and SQL skills<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience with CRM data integration (Salesforce and\/or Dynamics 365)<\/li>\n<li>Experience designing incremental \/ CDC ingestion pipelines<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of data modelling and lakehouse architecture<\/li>\n<li>Experience building data quality frameworks and production monitoring<\/li>\n<li>Confident operating in a technical ownership \/ lead engineer capacity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Nice to have<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with Unity Catalog or Databricks governance tooling<\/li>\n<li>Prior exposure to large-scale CRM consolidation or Customer 360 programmes<\/li>\n<li>Experience in regulated or enterprise-scale environments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> This is a rare opportunity to step into a true technical ownership role on a greenfield-style Databricks lakehouse programme.<\/p>\n<p>You won&#8217;t just be building pipelines &#8211;
