A leading enterprise organization in the financial services space is seeking an External Integrations Software Engineer to support modernization and integration initiatives across cloud and on-prem environments. This role is ideal for an engineer with strong backend Java expertise, hands-on AWS integration experience, and exposure to leveraging AI tools to improve engineering or business processes.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Design and develop integration-based services across cloud and on-prem systems
- Build and maintain backend services using Java
- Develop and support AWS-based integration solutions using:
- AWS Lambda
- AWS Step Functions
- AWS Transfer Family
- Partner with internal business teams, IT stakeholders, and external vendors to define integration requirements and deliver scalable solutions
- Support modernization initiatives and enterprise integration efforts
- Utilize AI tools and automation techniques to improve workflow efficiency and development productivity
- Perform code reviews and mentor offshore or managed-service development resources
