Private Equity Director – Fund Administration

Job Summary

This role is suited for an experienced private equity fund accounting professional who will lead teams, manage key client relationships, and oversee the full life cycle of fund accounting for closed end and private equity structures. The position is part of a growing private equity group that supports complex fund structures and partners closely with clients to enhance operational models and technology driven processes.

The Private Equity Director will manage end to end fund accounting activities, including capital calls, distributions, NAV preparation, financial statements, profit allocations, fee calculations, waterfall models, and performance reporting. The role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely delivery of all client and investor reporting, while maintaining strong internal controls and contributing to process improvements.

This position includes oversight of audit cycles, participation in client on boarding, and the development and management of a team of up to ten staff. The Director will act as a primary client contact and work closely with senior leadership to support both client service and internal operational objectives.

Skills and Experience:

• More than 7 years of fund administration experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Strong understanding of private equity and closed end fund structures
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related discipline
• Professional qualification such as CPA, completed or in progress preferred
• Experience with systems such as Investran is advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage stakeholders effectively
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work in a fast paced, client focused environment
