About the Role
As a Senior Accountant, you’ll play a key role in corporate close, consolidation, and reporting processes across a global structure. You will work closely with leadership, technical accounting teams and operations to ensure financial accuracy, regulatory readiness, and continuous improvement of our reporting systems.
What You’ll Do
- Manage essential accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations and consolidation
- Support annual audit activities, from preparing GAAP-based financial statements to organizing supporting evidence and coordinating with auditors.
- Partner with internal audit teams on control documentation
- Develop and implement automation and process-efficiency initiatives within the financial close cycle.
- Produce detailed financial reporting packages for internal leadership and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with colleagues across accounting areas, including reinsurance and insurance reporting teams, to support key deliverables.
Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in an accounting or finance role
- Experience in P&C or reinsurance a must
- A proactive learner who thrives on new challenges
- Background in US GAAP reporting and multi-entity consolidations
- Strong critical-thinking skills and the ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships
