Best “A” (Excellent) rating, this is an incredible opportunity to join a winning organization in a high-level, high-visibility, high impact role.
Recognized for their long-term stability and disciplined growth, our client is currently in the midst of a significant enterprise technology and data modernization effort, investing heavily in cloud (AWS) platforms, data capabilities, and modern architecture to support future scalability and innovation.
The Director of Enterprise Architecture will report directly to C-Suite and partner closely with Cloud, Engineering, and Security leadership. This role will own and evolve enterprise-wide architecture across data, applications, infrastructure, and security, define and enforce company-wide architecture standards, influence leadership on roadmaps and future-state vision, and play a key role in cloud data lake adoption.
2026 represents a pivotal technology year for the organization:

- Legacy Oracle platforms are being retired, with a strategic shift toward cloud-based data lakes (AWS-first environment)
- Enterprise priorities include modern architecture standards, CI/CD maturity, DevOps enablement, and scalable platforms
As such, we are looking for a true multidimensional architecture leader, someone with deep technical credibility, a clear architectural point of view, and the ability to lead across domains.
This is a hands-on leadership role, balancing architectural strategy with practical execution, and ensuring technology roadmaps are achievable, secure, and aligned with business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Own the enterprise architecture vision and future-state roadmap
- Lead and develop four direct-report domain architects (data, applications, infrastructure, security)
- Define, document, and enforce architecture standards, principles, and modernization paradigms
- Guide architecture decisions that support scalability, security, resilience, and speed to market
- Play a key role in:
- Cloud data lake adoption and enterprise data transformation
- CI/CD pipeline maturity and DevOps-aligned architectures
- Legacy system sunset and platform rationalization
- Partner closely with Cloud Engineering, Application Engineering, and Information Security leaders
- Influence senior leadership on architectural direction, funding, and sequencing of initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- TOGAF certification preferred
- 15 years’ experience designing technical solutions, with minimum 5-7 years experience at an Architect level
- 3+ years of people leadership experience
- Proven success defining IT roadmaps and leading architecture execution
- Strong track record with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps-oriented architectures
- Application Architect/Data Architect background strongly preferred
Cloud & Technology
- AWS-first experience required (AWS certification strongly preferred)
- Experience designing and implementing:
- Cloud-native architectures
- Enterprise data platforms and data lakes
- Secure, scalable distributed systems
Leadership & Mindset
- Multidimensional leader with strong technical depth and a firm architectural perspective
- Ability to translate business strategy into clear, executable technology roadmaps
- Comfortable influencing senior leaders and challenging assumptions when needed
- Passion for building modern, durable enterprise architecture
If you’re looking for an opportunity that will have real influence over an organization’s enterprise direction, please apply!
