Oliver James are currently working with one of our clients in Zurich, who are a leading institution within the higher education sector looking for a Senior SAP Engineer. We are looking for a professional to join our client on a permanent basis to be part of a migration project.
The candidate we are looking for will be a highly experienced Senior SAP Engineer with a clear focus on SAP S/4HANA within SAP Basis. The successful candidate will have technical responsibility for the transformation of the SAP landscape from the current on-premise to cloud migration.
Responsibilities:
- Setting up, operating and further developing the SAP cloud platform (S/4HANA).
- Create strategic architecture and be part of operational decisions relating to defining the cloud operating models for implementation.
- Manage performance and compliance throughout the entire system life cycle.
- Coordinate the internal teams and external providers.
- Establish progressive operating , monitoring and ways to automate concepts.
You should have:
- Strong and proven expertise in planning , supporting and managing SAP Cloud migrations , transitions and hyper care. (SAP S/4Hana | Cloud and SAP/SAP Basis).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
- Experience working with Hyperscalers, SAP, and external service providers.
- The ability to share knowledge, define standards, and provide technical leadership.
- Desirable: German speaking candidate and able to communicate in English.
