Our Legal Technology & Innovation team plays a central role in modernising how legal services are delivered. The team identifies opportunities to enhance efficiency, improve knowledge sharing, strengthen risk management, and create differentiated client offerings through technology-enabled solutions.
Working at the intersection of law, process improvement, and digital capability, the team evaluates emerging tools, pilots new platforms, and embeds sustainable change across the business. The focus is not only on implementing technology but also on ensuring adoption, measurable impact, and long-term value.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Legal Technology & Innovation Manager to lead the identification, development, and deployment of legal technology initiatives across the firm. This position combines strategic oversight with hands-on project delivery and stakeholder engagement.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving innovation projects from initial concept and business case development through to implementation, training, and continuous improvement. You will collaborate closely with partners, associates, business services professionals, and in some cases clients, to design solutions that streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and enhance the overall client experience.
Key areas of technology focus may include:

Core Responsibilities

Partner with legal and business teams to identify opportunities where technology can improve delivery, reduce risk, or create competitive advantage

Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of legal technology platforms

Develop prototypes and pilot programmes to test innovative solutions before wider rollout

Manage multiple technology initiatives simultaneously, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines and budgets

Drive adoption through structured change management, stakeholder engagement, and clear communication

Deliver training sessions, workshops, and demonstrations to maximise effective use of new tools

Provide ongoing support and continuous improvement recommendations post-implementation

Build strong working relationships across practice groups and corporate functions

Contribute to client pitches, panel presentations, and innovation-focused discussions

Monitor developments in legal technology and assess their relevance to the firm’s strategic objectives

Supervise and mentor junior members of the innovation team

Contribute to shaping the longer-term innovation roadmap and capability development
