Are you a data-driven Analyst with early-career GI exposure looking to step into a role with real impact, client interaction and end-to-end analytical ownership? This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-scaling FS benchmarking and analytics firm at the heart of their UK growth.

About the Company

You’ll be joining a specialist financial services benchmarking and analytics business with a global footprint (90% North America, 10% UK). Their UK division focuses on General Insurance, Life & Protection, and Banking, working closely with all major personal lines players.

With strong private equity backing, £5m+ annual revenue, they are growing rapidly and investing heavily in scalable data capabilities.

The current UK team sits at 12, and this role is part of a strategic expansion to strengthen their core analytical function.

The Role

Sitting at the centre of the business, this is a hands-on analytical role split across two key areas:

  1. Client-Facing Insight & Storytelling
  • Work directly with insurer clients using outputs from benchmarks, workshops, and market data
  • Translate quantitative data into compelling insights and narratives
  • Present findings confidently and help clients understand performance opportunities
  1. Core Data Analysis & QA
  • Deep dive into GI data sets, ensuring benchmarking inputs align, reconcile, and make sense
  • Perform data manipulation, validation, and interpretation
  • Support the transition from legacy Excel/PowerPoint workflows towards more scalable SAS-based processes
  • Help shape the future of their analytical tooling and capability

Your Experience:

  • 2-3 years’ experience in a data-heavy Analyst role
  • Some exposure to UK General Insurance (personal lines ideally) even if light, as long as you understand the domain
  • Strong spreadsheet and data manipulation skills comfortable playing with data, checking data quality, spotting patterns
  • Strong numerical ability
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to craft a story out of data
  • Curious, detail-driven, and passionate about making data meaningful
