NEW LEGAL OPPORTUNITY: Corporate Counsel – Corporate / Commercial Generalist
A global insurance organization is seeking a Corporate Counsel to support a broad range of corporate and operational legal matters. This role will focus on commercial contracts, general corporate advisory work, and partnering with business stakeholders on day-to-day legal and operational initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise internal stakeholders on a variety of corporate and commercial legal matters
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including vendor contracts and confidentiality agreements
- Support operational initiatives across business functions such as communications, marketing, and general operations
- Assist with internal compliance processes, including sanctions-related reviews
- Partner with internal teams to manage legal risk and support business objectives
- Provide general corporate legal support across a range of operational matters
Qualifications:
- MUST HAVE 5+ years of legal experience
- Experience handling general corporate and commercial legal matters
- Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to operate as a corporate generalist in a fast-paced environment
