Financial Analyst
Overview
A leading global financial services organization is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its FP&A team, supporting expense management within Compensation & Benefits (C&B). This role plays a key part in delivering financial insights to senior leadership, while ensuring alignment with reporting requirements, regulatory expectations, and overall business strategy.
The position partners closely with FP&A, Finance Business Support, and Controllership teams, offering strong visibility across the organization. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with complex data, building reporting, and contributing to strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and enhance reporting related to headcount and compensation & benefits expenses

Partner with cross-functional finance teams to analyze and explain key operational cost drivers

Prepare financial analyses and “walks” that translate expense movements into actionable business insights

Support forecasting and budgeting processes, including daily estimates and monthly variance analysis

Assist in building pro forma financial models to support future-state planning and strategic initiatives

Help maintain planning calendars and coordinate deliverables across the FP&A function

Contribute to linking functional expenses to broader financial results and performance metrics
Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in financial services or a related field (expense management experience preferred)

Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with experience handling large datasets and building executive-level presentations

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights

Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or another quantitative discipline
