AVP, Actuarial Modeling
Seeking an experienced actuarial professional with deep expertise in AXIS modeling to lead and support key modeling initiatives across a dynamic and growing insurance and reinsurance platform. This role offers broad exposure to valuation, capital, and risk frameworks, with strong visibility across the organization and direct reporting into a well-respected leader in the reinsurance space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead development, enhancement, and governance of actuarial models within AXIS, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across multiple reporting bases
- Oversee and contribute to Financial Condition Testing (CFT) and Asset Liability Management (ALM) analysis
- Support multi-basis financial reporting, including US GAAP, STAT, Tax, and EBS frameworks
- Perform sensitivity testing and analysis to inform business and risk management decisions
- Contribute to capital modeling and reporting, including BSCR and related frameworks
- Partner cross-functionally with teams across insurance and reinsurance to support broader business initiatives and strategic modeling needs
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience working with GGY AXIS in a modeling environment

Strong understanding of life/annuity products/or reinsurance products and financial reporting frameworks
- Proven ability to manage complex modeling processes and deliver insights in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
