The Role:
- This position involves driving continual improvements to the casualty data ETL pipeline, analysing and visualising accumulation by insureds, lines, and industries to deliver actionable insights to business leaders, and working closely with data engineers to confront complex data challenges and build scalable solutions.
- The Enterprise Risk Management team plays a central role in ensuring the company maximises its return on capital over the long term while maintaining risk at acceptable levels.
- The successful candidate will collaborate with other ERM team members on a variety of projects with a focus on exposure management and catastrophe modelling for casualty re(insurance).
- You will analyse accumulation by insured, line, and industry to deliver insights that inform underwriting strategy, reinsurance design, and capital allocation. You will support the development of catastrophe scenarios and model complex casualty reinsurance protections to assess tail-risk and protection effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 Years of Experience in P&C (re)insurance, with a focus on casualty
- R, Python, or Excel
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree required
- ACAS/FCAS is strongly preferred
- Proven ability to present data – driven insights to senior executives
