Senior Angular Developer | Public Sector | Brussels
We are looking for a Senior Angular Developer to lead the frontend development of a high-impact application for a Public Portal. This project involves a complete “from scratch” rebuild of a legacy system, modernizing existing features to meet current standards.
As the primary frontend specialist, you will take over the development from the current owner to finalize and ship the application.
Technical Landscape
To succeed in this mission, you should be a master of the modern Angular ecosystem:
- Core Framework: Expert knowledge of Angular 21 and TypeScript.
- Reactive Programming: Deep proficiency in RxJS for handling complex data streams and asynchronous operations.
- State Management: Experience with Signals (Angular’s latest reactivity model) or NgRx to ensure a performant and predictable UI state.
- Integration: Solid experience consuming RESTful services provided by a Spring Boot backend.
- Architecture: Ability to design clean, modular, and testable frontend architectures for a greenfield project.
- Public Sector Standards: Familiarity with web accessibility (WCAG) and security best practices, given the application’s placement on the social security portal.

We are seeking a seasoned “doer” who thrives on delivery and technical excellence.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of professional experience specifically with Angular.
- Execution: You are a self-starter who delivers high-quality code without needing to manage a team; your focus is on pure technical output.
- Languages: Full professional proficiency in French or Dutch and English is mandatory.
- Fullstack Potential: While this is a frontend-heavy role, knowledge of Spring Boot is a significant plus, as there is an opportunity to transition into backend tasks later in the project.
