Our client, a leading asset manager ($220b AUM), is looking to add a Senior Associate/Associate to their Global Private Debt Operations team in New York City. This role is offering a hybrid schedule and tremendous growth within the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Support capital planning and leverage management across private credit funds, including optimizing credit facilities and assisting with financings (e.g., subscription lines, asset-backed facilities)
- Build and maintain complex financial models to analyze leverage, liquidity, and fund-level performance
- Manage cash and liquidity forecasting, optimizing timing of capital calls, distributions, borrowings, and repayments to enhance returns
- Develop fund and return projection models (e.g., BDC earnings, portfolio returns, prospective fund performance) to inform strategic decisions
- Prepare analysis and presentations for stakeholders such as boards, banks, and rating agencies, while collaborating cross-functionally with investment, accounting, and operations teams
- Contribute to process improvements, technology initiatives, and special projects spanning both financial strategy and operational efficiency
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in investment operations or similar roles, preferably within private credit
- Strong background in fixed income and direct lending
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting (preferred)
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Highly organized, adaptable, and deadline-driven
