Business Analyst – L&H Reinsurance – Contract
We’re working with a leading reinsurance organisation in Zurich who are continuing to expand their Life & Health function. Following the successful closure of a first hire, they are now looking to appoint a second experienced Business Analyst to support ongoing initiatives across L&H Reinsurance, with a strong focus on Operations.
This role would suit someone who has hands-on experience within L&H Reinsurance Operations and has since transitioned into a Business Analyst role, working closely with both business and IT stakeholders.
Ideal background / Experience
* Zurich-based role (hybrid working)
* Mandatory experience within Life & Health Reinsurance
* Strong L&H Operations background required
* Business Analysis / Change / Stakeholder Management focus
Day To Day Responsibilities
* Work closely with stakeholders across Life & Health Reinsurance
* Analyse operational processes, business requirements, and data flows
* Translate business needs into clear functional and technical documentation
* Support change initiatives, system enhancements, and process improvements
* Act as a key interface between Operations, IT, and project teams
* Contribute to the successful delivery of L&H-focused initiatives
Ideal Background / Experience
* Proven experience as a Business Analyst within reinsurance or insurance
* Mandatory hands-on exposure to L&H Reinsurance, ideally within Operations
* Strong understanding of L&H processes (e.g. underwriting, claims, policy admin)
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
* Experience working in complex, regulated environments
* German language skills beneficial but not essential
