I’m currently working with a top-tier global (re)insurance company looking to hire a Catastrophe Exposure Manager to join their Global Catastrophe & Exposure Management team.
This role sits at the intersection of catastrophe modelling, portfolio analytics, and underwriting strategy, supporting a large commercial property portfolio. The team partners closely with underwriting leadership to analyse exposure, optimise portfolio risk, and drive data-led decision making across the business.

- Analysing catastrophe exposure across a global commercial property portfolio
- Developing portfolio analytics and risk metrics to support underwriting decisions
- Working with large datasets to improve exposure data quality and analytical outputs
- Building dashboards, visualisation tools, and reporting frameworks
- Automating analytics workflows and improving internal modelling processes
- Partnering with underwriting and senior stakeholders to translate modelling outputs into business insights
Requirements
- 5-10 years’ experience in catastrophe modelling or exposure management within insurance or reinsurance
- Experience with commercial property catastrophe risk
- Working knowledge of Verisk Touchstone
- Strong programming capability, particularly SQL
- Experience using Python, C#, or similar languages to automate workflows
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex analytics to business stakeholders
