Client Relationship Specialist

We are working with a distinguished wealth management firm that has been serving individuals, families, corporations, and nonprofit organizations for decades. The firm manages billions in assets and is widely respected for providing holistic, fiduciary-focused advice and highly personalized client service. Their advisors and client service teams are known for long tenures, stability, and a culture rooted in trust and professionalism.

The Client Relationship Specialist role is central to the advisor-client experience, ensuring seamless client interactions and efficient operational support. This position is based in the firm’s Highland Park, IL office, serving as the go-to partner for advisors and High-Net-Worth clients alike.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the client lifecycle, including onboarding, documentation, and account setup
  • Executing account maintenance requests, such as registration and profile changes
  • Processing asset movements and transactions with precision and compliance in mind
  • Assisting with quarterly billing, performance reporting, and tax-related documentation
  • Proactively addressing and resolving client inquiries, ensuring exceptional service
  • Maintaining accurate records in the CRM and reviewing exception reports
  • Preparing authorizations, operational documents, and regulatory paperwork as needed
  • Collaborating with compliance and supervisory teams on relevant matters
  • Supporting trade execution and managing any trade errors in coordination with advisors
  • Partnering closely with Financial Advisors to enhance client relationships and deliver white-glove service

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years of relevant client service or operations experience in wealth management or financial services
  • FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with estate planning a plus
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with platforms such as Salesforce, Wealthscape Investor, or Black Diamond preferred
  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive team player with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while maintaining accuracy and composure under pressure
