Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Auto Physical Damage (APD) Claims Adjuster to manage a high-volume, fast-paced caseload focused on minor APD losses. This role primarily handles lower-severity commercial auto claims such as fender benders, minor collisions, property damage (e.g., mailboxes, poles, fencing), and other low-complexity physical damage losses.
This is a fully remote position.
Key Responsibilities

Handle a high-volume caseload of minor commercial auto physical damage claims from first notice of loss through resolution

Investigate claims by reviewing policy coverage, damage details, photos, estimates, and supporting documentation

Communicate regularly with insureds, claimants, repair facilities, and vendors

Evaluate damages and negotiate timely, fair settlements within assigned authority

Authorize payments and ensure prompt claim resolution

Maintain accurate and organized claim documentation

Ensure compliance with state regulations and internal claim handling guidelines
Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years of experience handling commercial auto physical damage (APD) claims

Active New York Adjuster’s License (required)

Strong understanding of commercial auto coverages and minor APD claim handling

Experience reviewing and negotiating repair estimates for low-severity losses

Ability to manage volume in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills

Comfortable working independently in a fully remote setting
