Role & Responsibilities
- Evaluate and decide on the approval of surety bonds, focusing on commercial lines in the Western region.
- Analyze and interpret financial documents to determine risk levels and premium rates.
- Maintain and build relationships with brokers and clients to ensure a high level of service and business retention.
- Coordinate with other team members to optimize underwriting processes and enhance client satisfaction.
- Stay up to date with market trends and regulatory changes that impact the surety and commercial insurance sectors.
- Mentor and support junior underwriters and administrative staff within the team.
