Job Summary / Introduction

A growing insurance organization is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Analyst to join its compliance team. This individual will assist in coordinating and managing the company’s compliance activities, support regulatory reporting, and promote a culture of compliance across the organization. The ideal candidate will be both analytical and collaborative, capable of working independently and as a strategic partner to business units.

Detailed Job Description

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on state regulatory requirements and licensing
  • Manage producer, broker, and claims adjuster licenses, including renewals and database updates
  • Provide updates to management on licensing status and outstanding tasks
  • Assist in preparing regulatory reports, surplus lines tax filings, and data calls
  • Respond to internal and external information requests, including those from legal and regulatory bodies
  • Maintain organized compliance records and confidential documentation
  • Analyze data for compliance monitoring and reporting
  • Support the development and delivery of compliance-related training
  • Monitor regulatory changes and communicate updates across the organization
  • Maintain and update compliance documentation, policies, and intranet content
  • Conduct spot checks and benchmarking to assess internal controls
  • Participate in cross-functional projects supporting compliance and business goals
  • Assist in revising codes of conduct and ethics documentation as needed
  • Perform additional duties as required to support the compliance function
