A growing insurance organization is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Analyst to join its compliance team. This individual will assist in coordinating and managing the company’s compliance activities, support regulatory reporting, and promote a culture of compliance across the organization. The ideal candidate will be both analytical and collaborative, capable of working independently and as a strategic partner to business units.
Detailed Job Description
- Serve as a subject matter expert on state regulatory requirements and licensing
- Manage producer, broker, and claims adjuster licenses, including renewals and database updates
- Provide updates to management on licensing status and outstanding tasks
- Assist in preparing regulatory reports, surplus lines tax filings, and data calls
- Respond to internal and external information requests, including those from legal and regulatory bodies
- Maintain organized compliance records and confidential documentation
- Analyze data for compliance monitoring and reporting
- Support the development and delivery of compliance-related training
- Monitor regulatory changes and communicate updates across the organization
- Maintain and update compliance documentation, policies, and intranet content
- Conduct spot checks and benchmarking to assess internal controls
- Participate in cross-functional projects supporting compliance and business goals
- Assist in revising codes of conduct and ethics documentation as needed
- Perform additional duties as required to support the compliance function
