Contract Research Attorney – Financial Services & Appellate Support

A litigation practice is seeking a research-focused contract attorney to support complex commercial and consumer finance matters. This fully remote role is ideal for a junior attorney with law review experience, strong legal writing skills, and exposure to appellate litigation.
Responsibilities include:
- Drafting memoranda, motions, and briefs for federal and state court matters
- Supporting appellate strategy and litigation
- Conducting in-depth legal research on financial institution operations, insurance coverage disputes, and tort liability
- Assisting with class action defense and enterprise risk litigation
Ideal candidates will have:
- Law review or journal experience
- Exposure to appellate practice or clerkship experience
- Strong analytical and writing skills
- Interest in growing within a national litigation practice
This is a contract role with potential for long-term growth. Compensation is hourly and commensurate with experience.
