Our client is an established and reputable international Insurance group with a solid focus in further developing the Asia markets. The Group has diverse businesses across Life Insurance, Health Insurance, Pensions and Asset Management. As part of strategic growth in the HNW / Wealth Management segment, the group is seeking a high-calibre Partnership Distribution Professional to join the Asia Distribution Strategy Team to develop the relationships with Private Banks and HNW Brokers. The position can be based in Hong Kong or Singapore.
The key responsibilities for this position are as follows:
- Lead and build a dedicated team in HNW Partnership Distribution to drive market expansion, grow HNW / UHNW distribution, deepen private bank, bancassurance, international brokers partnerships and accelerate distribution transformation across key Asian and emerging markets.
- Act as senior relationship owner, establishing structured engagement models with private banks and brokers while driving strategic partnerships across key Asian markets, navigating regulatory and operational complexities.
- Design HNW / UHNW proposition and product positioning for legacy planning, protection solutions, and wealth transfer.
- Partner with Wealth, Product, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, and Operations to ensure readiness and scalable execution.
- Equip partner sales teams with training, capability-building sessions, and support to strengthen their engagement with HNW clients.
- Take accountability for HNW/UHNW business targets, revenue growth and pipeline governance through the development of KPIs, performance frameworks and comprehensive reporting dashboards.
- Foster cross-market collaboration by aligning with local business units to achieve strategic goals in profitability, customer acquisition and product penetration.
- Promote the exchange of best practices and regional synergy across the Group’s footprint, reinforcing a culture of strong governance, risk discipline, and regulatory compliance across partnership activities.
Successful applicants will have the following skills and experience:
- Minimum 15 years relevant partnership distribution experience in Insurance, Bancassurance, Private Banks or International Brokers specializing in Private Banking, HNW / UHNW, Wealth Management segment
- Specialization in distribution strategy, partnership relationship management and engagement
- Expertise in life insurance, HNW wealth protection, legacy planning and cross‑border structures
- Strong knowledge of life insurance financials, product mechanics, pricing advantage, data analytics usage and private banking operating models
- Demonstrated expertise in project leadership, strategic planning, relationship management, deals negotiation and cross-functional execution
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English
