This role works closely with senior leadership to monitor regulatory developments, assess risk exposure, and implement effective compliance strategies across the organization.

Lead and manage the organization’s compliance program, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations within the property and casualty insurance sector.

Monitor and interpret evolving regulatory requirements, providing guidance to senior leadership on potential risks and the impact of new or changing laws.

Conduct periodic compliance risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement mitigation strategies across all operational areas.

Ensure compliance risks are evaluated across key functions, including product development, underwriting, claims, and distribution channels.

Research applicable laws and regulations and develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and internal controls to minimize risk exposure.

Support and execute additional strategic compliance initiatives as required by leadership.
Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.

Minimum of 7 years of compliance experience within the property and casualty insurance industry.

Strong knowledge of insurance regulations, including state insurance codes, NAIC standards, and relevant federal regulations such as GLBA, HIPAA, and TCPA.

Solid understanding of the insurance product lifecycle, including underwriting, policy issuance, and claims handling.

Demonstrated ability to assess risk, develop compliance strategies, and lead cross-functional initiatives.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and regulators.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
