Role & Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain Asset Liability Modeling to ensure financial optimization and compliance.
- Utilize the Economic Scenario Generator for accurate and effective risk assessment.
- Develop sophisticated models to analyze mortality rates and their implications on insurance products and services.
- Conduct Market Risk Modeling to predict and mitigate potential risks impacting company assets and liabilities.
- Apply Life Insurance Stochastic Modeling techniques to evaluate various financial scenarios and their outcomes.
- Work closely with IT developers for the enhancement of AXIS and Prophet actuarial systems.
- Lead middleware development and upgrade projects including systems such as Algo, RAFM, etc.
- Foster relationships with mid-market sales teams to align actuarial strategies with sales targets.
Key Skills
- Profound experience with Asset Liability Modeling and Economic Scenario Generators.
- Expertise in Mortality Modeling and Analysis, and Market Risk Modeling.
- Demonstrable skill in life insurance stochastic modeling.
- Extensive experience in developing and managing systems like AXIS, Prophet, Algo, and RAFM.
- Strong technical prowess in areas such as Algo and RAFM system development.
- Capacity to integrate actuarial tools with IT platforms to enhance analytical capabilities and system reliability.
- Effective interpersonal skills with an ability to collaborate with sales teams and technical staff.
