Financial Reporting Manager | Tampa (hybrid)

Oliver James are delighted to be partnered with a newly public, high-growth insurtech company headquartered in Tampa is expanding its finance function following a recent IPO. The business provides a modern Insurance-as-a-Service platform to P&C carriers and is investing in building a best-in-class reporting and technical accounting team.

This is a newly created Financial Reporting Manager role offering high visibility, meaningful ownership, and a clearly defined progression path within a listed environment.

The Opportunity
This is a hands-on role with ownership across SEC reporting and technical accounting. You will:

  • Lead preparation of 10-Qs, 10-Ks, MD&A, earnings releases, and related disclosures
  • Own technical accounting research and position papers
  • Play a key role in SOX and internal controls as the environment continues to mature
  • Partner closely with senior leadership, Investor Relations, Legal, FP&A, Tax, and external auditors
  • Manage and develop a Senior Accountant
  • Contribute to broader finance transformation as systems and processes evolve post-IPO

The role has been designed as part of a succession plan. The leadership team is seeking someone who can grow into leading SEC reporting longer term and progress toward Director-level responsibility.
