We’ve partnered with a leading provider of specialised software solutions to find a Professional Software Engineer (leaning more towards the Frontend) to join their dynamic team. This company develops high-quality administration systems for the financial and pensions sector, working with well-known clients and leveraging modern technology to drive innovation.
The Role
As a Frontend Software Engineer, you will primarily focus on developing modern, responsive web interfaces and translating product requirements into user-friendly solutions. You will collaborate closely with Product Owners, QA specialists, and backend developers to implement new features and continuously improve existing applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement frontend features and interfaces for modern web applications using Angular.
- Build reusable, responsive UI components with a strong focus on usability, accessibility, and performance.
- Work closely with Product Owners and Testers to deliver high-quality functionality for both new and existing applications.
- Integrate frontend components with RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Maintain strong engineering standards through clean code practices, automated testing, and code reviews.
Key Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science (University of Applied Sciences / ETH) or an equivalent qualification.
- 3-5 years of experience in agile software development.
- Strong expertise in Angular and modern frontend technologies, including TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating frontend applications with backend services.
- Knowledge of Java is advantageous.
- Familiarity with containerisation, cloud environments, or DevOps practices is beneficial.
- Strong analytical thinking skills with a structured and solution-oriented approach.
- Fluent German language skills are required.
