Senior Guidewire BillingCenter Developer (Remote)
Overview
We are looking for a Senior Guidewire BillingCenter Developer to lead technical initiatives and provide expertise across BillingCenter functions and integrations. This role combines hands-on development with leadership responsibilities, ensuring high-quality deliverables and guiding teams toward best practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain BillingCenter applications and integrations.
- Design, document, and execute unit tests to ensure code quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Review technical designs and recommend improvements.
- Lead projects across technical disciplines and mentor team members.
- Research and implement new technologies and frameworks.
- Prepare technical specifications and ensure adherence to coding standards.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of development experience; 5+ years with Guidewire Suite, 3+ years BillingCenter.
- Strong skills in Java/Spring, Gosu, REST, SQL, and cloud development practices.
- Guidewire Certified Ace preferred; P&C insurance experience a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
