Head HNW Wealth Solutions (Asia)

We are partnering with a growing international wealth solutions platform on a newly created senior commercial hire focused on expanding its ultra-high-net-worth insurance and wealth structuring business across Asia.

This is a highly strategic and client-facing role working closely with UHNW individuals, family offices, private banks, and professional advisers on sophisticated cross-border wealth planning solutions.

The Opportunity

The business is looking to strengthen its presence in the UHNW segment across Asia and is seeking an experienced commercial professional who can originate, develop, and close complex wealth structuring opportunities.

This is not a traditional retail HNW sales role. The focus is on bespoke, large-ticket cases involving sophisticated insurance-led wealth solutions and multi-jurisdictional planning structures.

The environment is entrepreneurial, commercially driven, and significantly less bureaucratic than many large financial institutions, offering strong autonomy and visibility within the business.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and manage relationships with UHNW clients, family offices, private banks, trustees, fiduciaries, lawyers, tax advisers, and external asset managers across Asia
* Originate and drive new business opportunities involving insurance-based wealth solutions and succession planning structures
* Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to structure and execute bespoke client solutions
* Build and maintain a strong pipeline of regional opportunities across Singapore, Hong Kong, and broader Asia markets
* Partner with intermediaries and advisers to position solutions within wider wealth preservation and governance frameworks
* Represent the business at client meetings, industry events, and relationship development initiatives
* Contribute to the long-term growth strategy of the Asia UHNW platform

Requirements

* Strong experience within UHNW wealth management, private banking, international brokers, family office advisory, or insurance-based wealth solutions
* Experience handling sophisticated UHNW or large-ticket client structures
* Strong understanding of:

  • PPLI / Variable Life structures
  • Cross-border wealth planning
  • Trust and family office structures
  • Insurance-led succession planning
  • Portfolio-based wealth solutions
    * Established network within the UHNW ecosystem across Asia
    * Strong commercial and relationship management capability with proven business origination experience
    * Ability to engage sophisticated clients and advisers with credibility and confidence
    * Mandarin language capability would be highly advantageous due to client demographics
