Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee general corporate legal matters to safeguard the business
- Lead on both commercial and regulatory legal work
- Manage complex contracting (approximately 60% of the role)
- Support ongoing fundraising activities, including a forthcoming Series B round
- Handle day-to-day legal “housekeeping” typical of a Series A-stage company
- Build and scale the legal team over time
Candidate Profile:
- Financial services regulatory lawyer with strong commercial contracting expertise
- Experience in high-growth, fast-paced, and sometimes chaotic environments
- Prior in-house experience is essential
