Location: Warren, NJ (Hybrid, 2-3 days onsite)

We’re seeking an experienced Internal Developer Platform Lead to spearhead the evolution of DevSecOps practices and elevate the developer experience across the enterprise. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll architect secure automation pipelines, drive engineering efficiency, and build a scalable self-service developer portal that empowers teams to deliver with speed and confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and rollout of enterprise-grade CI/CD/CT pipelines using modern tooling (Azure DevOps, GitHub, Terraform), embedding security at every stage.

  • Manage and mentor a high-performing DevSecOps engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Partner with cloud, security, and application teams to align DevSecOps strategies with broader enterprise goals.

  • Build and maintain a self-service developer portal with reusable templates for infrastructure, APIs, and deployments.

  • Ensure security by design through automated scans, compliance checks, and policy enforcement integrated directly into pipelines.

  • Drive initiatives to streamline developer workflows, infrastructure provisioning, and monitoring to improve productivity and system resilience.

Skills Needed:

  • 8+ years in DevSecOps, cloud engineering, and infrastructure automation.

  • 5+ years managing or leading technical teams with a focus on automation.

  • Strong expertise in Azure (bonus: AWS, GCP, or Oracle).

  • Proven experience with CI/CD tooling (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell).

  • Hands-on with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native operations.

  • Deep knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code, reusable templates, and cloud governance standards.

  • Familiarity with security best practices, compliance frameworks, and incident response.

  • Scripting capabilities in Python, Go, Bash, or PowerShell.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to influence standards and best practices across teams.
